"I can't believe you got Dimitri to agree. Let alone get Kirova on board with the whole 'I-need-to-celebrate-my-pregnancy-and-Rose's-upcoming-trials' thing. Wait. Did you use compulsion?!"

Lissa smacked her lips together to even out her lip gloss before answering. "Nope. She said that I would have two of the best guardians around, so I should be safe. And, Dimitri was totally excited. He was trying to hide it, but I read his aura."

I groaned and continued applying make-up. "Please stop using your powers, Liss. We've talked about this!"

She simply rolled her eyes and shook her head at me. A quick check on the bond revealed that she believed I was more concerned about her reading my boyfriend's aura. I rolled my eyes back at her and went back to the make-up. After another half hour of perfecting ourselves, we were ready to leave. Knowing Christian and Dimitri, they were ready an hour ago. Before leaving my room, I checked myself over in the mirror. I couldn't dress in stuff that was too tight just in case we got into a fight. So, I decided to wear dark blue skinny jeans, a black lace peplum tank, and red peep-toe platform high heels. To top it all off, I had my hair put into an elegant bun, letting strands of hair hang around my face in waves. However, Lissa was dressed like a true royal.

She wore a purple sweaterdress that showed off her faint baby bump, along with the Dragomir crest hanging around her neck. The neckline on the sweaterdress wasn't too low, but it wasn't choking her at the same time. Along with the royal dress, she wore silver high heels with crystals covering the heel of each shoe. Her make-up was natural, yet made her green eyes pop. She wore her hair up, too, except her hair was in a pony tail instead. She looked beautiful.

"Let's go, Rose. The guys are waiting," Lissa said, snapping her fingers in a hurry-up motion.

"Okay, okay. By the way, Rosie looks beautiful."

She laughed, then admired her bump in the mirror. "I know. She's stealing the spot light away from her mommy already."

I scoffed. "Hardly."

We walked out of my room, making sure to lock it up. The last thing I need is someone breaking in and finding out more information about our personal lives. The guys were waiting downstairs by the gate, and we hurried past all the gawking students in the lobby so that we won't keep the guys waiting too much longer. Once we reached the car, Christian was gawking at Lissa. He's definitely seen the baby bump before, but I think he was proud of her showing it off and showing everyone that she loves this baby no matter what they say.

Dimitri, on the other hand, was eyeing my body up and down. I gave him a warning look, then averted my gaze to the ground. I got in the back seat with Lissa, and Christian sat up front with Dimitri. I highly doubt anyone is going to jump through the car to attack, but you can never be too careful. I looked around the silver SUV, satisfied when I saw that it was new. I had complained to Dimitri a couple weeks ago that I hated the old cars. This school had a lot of money; the least they could do is buy new cars for the Guardians!

The car ride was mostly silent. The only time we talked was when we complimented Lissa on her baby bump. She was so excited, but I felt sorrow. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled that I'm going to be an aunt or godmother... but I'm starting to fully understand that I'll never understand what it means to have so much love for one person. I'll never truly know what it means to be a mother...

Lissa pulled me out of my sorrow by bringing up my spring trials. "Rose, I have the perfect party planned for you! Oh my gosh. Christian, tell her how much she'll love it."

He still had his crystal blue eyes glued to his iPhone. "Yeah. It's going to be great."

"Christian! What the hell is so important on that phone of yours?!"
