Chapter 6

Ja'Marr's POV

Date Night ,Saturday May 22nd

The date night for me and Me'Onna is finally here, and I been prepping for this all week. Between practice, helping Me'Onna decorate her house, and preparing for the season to start we both needed this little date away from everyone and I put my heart into this so I hope she likes it.

I got Christian here helping me set up he's the lover of the group he knows what girls like. We got the roses, the candles, little balloons, the wine, chef everything.

"So bro you must really like this girl huh? She ain't even been here long and you got me setting up romantic dinners for y'all and shit. What even made you do this?" Christian asked sprinkling roses everywhere.

"She definitely caught my eye, she sweet and funny, I love her drive for training and shit. She really cool bro honestly, yeah I'm definitely feeling her a lil bit." I said blowing balloons up.

"Aww yeah my Boy growing up." He said patting My shoulders and we continued to set the dinner up.

It was starting to get closer to the time of the date so I asked Christian to finish setting up and making sure everything was perfect while I got in the shower and got dressed. 

I decided to put on a calm all black fit, yeah I'm in the house but I still wanted to look good for Me'Onna. Just as I got dressed I got a text from Her.

Hey JayBear I just got dressed I should be on my way soon😘.

I sprayed my Dior cologne and took one more look at my outfit before going back downstairs to light the candles.

Me'Onna POV

Honestly I was shocked when Ja'Marr asked me on a date for multiple reasons. One I didn't think he liked me, two I didn't think he was the date type he looks like a whore, and three I haven't been on a date since before me and my last boyfriend Dougie broke up.

But Ja'Marr is very chill and cute so why not go on a date with him, I just got finished getting dressed and was about to make my way to his house. When I got in my car I shot him a quick text to let him know I was coming.

After I sent that text I started my car and made my way to Ja'Marr's house. While I was driving I called Tae and Summer to let them know I was on my way to the date and I was nervous.

"Well hello Mrs. Friends with all the fine niggas how are you on this lovely evening?" Tae said making me laugh at his dumb ass antics.

"Shut the fuck up Tae for real, but listen is summer near you?." He nodded so I kept talking

"I'm going on a date, I'm on my way there now. Bitch I'm mad nervous you know I haven't been on a date since Dougie, I haven't even looked at a nigga since then. What the fuck do I do?"  I lowkey was freaking out the potential rookie of the year asked me on a date and I'm on my way there now.

It was easy being his trainer because we're both in our element and working but being in an intimate setting makes me very nervous.

"First of all we knew it was coming we made a bet on the player that you would end up wit bitch, 'AYE SUMMER YOU OWE ME $50 BITCH SHE GOING OUT WITH MR.CHASE.' But girl just be you and you'll be okay." Tae said making me laugh and calm down because he was right being me is what got me this far so I shouldn't have to do too much.

"Girl I woulda chose Tee honestly you wylin." Summer said coming in the camera making me scrunch my face up because out of all people Tee?  I mean he wasn't ugly but he acts like a child honestly.
