The Catch (A Ja'Marr Chase Story)

Chapter 4

Me'Onna POV

So my first practice was great, the guys are all cool and, they actually listen to me. Plus most of them are actually around my age so I could even make friends with these guys so I'm not too lonely in this city.

Me and my father just got finished reading over my contract and it sounded like a great deal, good money for 4 years unless I'm traded to another team almost just like a player contract. I decided I was going to sign it and OFFICIALLY make my dreams reality. I shot Brian a quick text telling him that I would be signing the contract and thanking him for the thousandth time, He told me to come in tomorrow for another practice and to tell everyone that I'm Officially their trainer.

After I sent that text my phone started blowing up with notifications, honestly confusing me. After all the notifications stopped I looked at my phone to see a bunch of new follows.

I looked at them realizing it was Tee, Ja'Marr, And Joe Mixon,  the other name I didn't recognize. I decided to look on the page and see, after some lurking I realized he was close friends with Ja'Marr and Tee. He was kinda cute but he was more of Summer's type than mine that's besides the point. I gave all of them a follow back since I needed friends out here and I'd be seeing a lot of them since they are my trainees.

I decided that I would house hunt online and schedule some visits since this is my new home, I didn't want anything giant but nothing too small so when my family and friends come they can just stay with me. While I was looking on my laptop I got another notification from Instagram, it was a DM from Ja'Marr I smiled to myself and shook my head. 

Lahjay10_: Hey Ms. Trainer

MeMeTheTrainer: Yes Mr. Chase

Lahjay10_: You know you can just call me Ja'Marr or Jay right?

MeMeTheTrainer: And I swore I said call me Me'Onna or MeMe you don't have to call me coach or Ms. Trainer lol

Lahjay10_: You right you got me there but can I get your number Me'Onna? It'd be a lot easier to communicate 

I gave him my number and continued to look for my house since I only had a week left in this hotel and I honestly wanna be out of here before that. A couple Minutes after a number I didn't recognize face timed me I answered it figuring it was Ja'Marr and no surprise it was when the call connected he was in his room playing the game with no shirt on. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a good sight to look at, Ja'Marr had a nice body and the tattoos was a plus. 

"Yes Ja'marr?" I asked sitting my phone up on the computer so he could see me and I could still house search. He looked into the camera and made a confused face at me then looking back at the game. 

"I can't talk to my trainer friend? We can be friends too right?" I laughed a little at the face he made and how serious he was. "Yes Ja'Marr we can be friends too." 

"Okay then so make sure you save my number too MeMe." He said calling me by my nickname I told them to call me and I don't know why but it made me blush. "So what you doing did you sign the contract or are we boutta have to find a new trainer already?" he asked pausing the game and putting it straight into the straight into the camera right at me.
