Chapter 5: Bloom's transformation

Aerilyn flew up in the air and outstretched her hand towards Stormy. "Since you want to be an air user so bad, dodge this!" She sent out a gush of wind from her palms which sent Stormy flying, she landed on the ground with a thud and groaned in pain. Darcy and Icy glared at Aerilyn and flew up to her level.

"How dare you, take this!" Icy sent ice shards her way, Aerilyn flew up to dodge the attack and retaliated with a gush of wind. Icy managed to dodge her attack and lifted her arms up. Huge ice shards grew from the ground and managed to trap Aerilyn.

Aerilyn tried to break the ice with gushes of wind but it proved useless. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, she aimed her hand at the ground and made a huge tornado which exploded into many gushes of wind breaking the ice. She looked around frantically for the witches, she felt a hard blow to her back and fell to the ground.

Gritting her teeth she painfully got up, Darcy used an illusion spell to mess with her mind. She held her head and shook it violently screaming in pain, she felt blood trickled from her nose as the spell continued to mess with her mind. Bloom screamed at the witches to stop. "Don't you dare hurt her!" A bright orange light enveloped Bloom. 

Bloom gasped and looked at herself, she smiled and looked back at the Trix. "I actually transformed, looks like we're even now" Aerilyn wiped the blood from her nose. "Not how it works Bloom." She attacked Darcy while she was distracted with a gush of wind and flew over to Bloom's side. She smiled at Bloom and nodded. "By the way, nice outfit, now let's destroy these witches."

Bloom nodded and fly up in level with Aerilyn. Darcy pointed two fingers to her forehead and said "Vertigo." Her eyes shone purple and Aerilyn felt the world around her go dizzy, she shook her head violently and shakily exhaled. She then felt a hand grab her and lift her up high into the sky and she felt her head clear up. "Way to go Bloom." Bloom smiled.

"Guess those 'fairy tales' helped me after all." Aerilyn rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Well after we're done here you can show me these 'fairy tales'" Aerilyn flew down towards Stormy and outstretched her hand. A small tornado appeared in her hand and it grew larger and larger, she let it go and it stuck Stormy in. She shrieked and tried to fly out of the tornado's grasp but failed to.

Moments later the tornado began to freeze up, Stormy was encased inside and as she opened her eyes it glowed purple. The ice exploded into pieces and pushed Aerilyn back, she shot at glance at Bloom who was now facing off against Icy.

She did the same move as she did to Aerilyn but shot an ice blast at Bloom while she was distracted and sent her falling and out of her fairy form. Aerilyn was about to attack Icy but saw Bloom struggling to get up, Darcy flew down and aimed a blast at her head. Aerilyn quickly intercepted and blocked the attack with a air shield.

Darcy flew back towards the other two witches and gave her a dirty glance before disappearing. She kneeled down making the shield disappear and helped up Bloom just as the others arrived, Stella had her hands on her knees panting while the other stood up straight.

"Where were you guys?" Bloom asked, Stella put up a finger before straightening herself up. "The headmistress wouldn't stop bothering us." Flora walked up to them and nodded.

"Yeah, luckily Aeri was able to elude her to help you." Bloom looked down sadly at the ground. "What's the matter Bloom?" Bloom sighed and looked at Stella.

"I tried to stop the witches from getting your ring but they got it anyways." Flora started laughing and everyone looked at her confused. "The ring is perfectly fine guys."

They arrived back at the assembly hall, Aerilyn took a drink and drank it down quickly. She went from drink to drink drinking it down faster than someone could drink one cup. Stella laughed and patted her shoulders. "Well someone's thirsty" Aerilyn exhaled loudly and wiped her mouth with a paper towel.

"Well fight three witches at once then tell me how'd you feel after." She smiled at Aerilyn. "Just kidding" Just then the room looked towards the door and there was a lot of wow's and woah's, Aerilyn looked towards the door and saw Bloom walking in with the gorgeous dress at she had bought.

Everyone complimented her dress and Aerilyn felt a twang of jealously but felt overly happy for her friend. She came up to them smiling at twirled around. "So how do i look?" Flora placed both of her hands on her shoulders.

"Beautiful like a spring flower" Aerilyn put a thumbs up and Stella nodded in approval. 

"Oh, what about the ring Flora?" Aerilyn asked.

"Simple while Bloom was getting dressed I did a simple switch-a-roo with the egg and the ring." Aerilyn beamed a smile and laughed. "Wow just amazing Flora, what did you put in the egg?!" Flora and Stella laughed, "Oh just a little something." Aerilyn groaned and pestered them.

"Come on guys I just got my ass kicked for nothing, I think I deserve to know." Flora shook her head smiling. "Nuh uh hu, not telling." Aerilyn put her hands together and pleaded with Flora. "Please Flora, just give me something good today." She still continued to shake her head, Aerilyn grudgingly took a drink and drank it down eyeing Flora. 

Minutes later Aerilyn was sitting down on a chair yawning, she then caught a glimpse of Sky and Bloom dancing and made a love heart shaped behind Sky's back, Bloom rolled her eyes and continued to chat with Sky.

Aerilyn laughed to herself and looked around the room for Diabolus. She saw him exiting the party and pushed through the crowd to get to him, as he was walking out of the door she shouted for him. He quickly turned around and had a annoyed looked on his face but instantly changed it when he saw her. She smiled at him and thank him for the evening. "No honestly, it has been a pleasure meeting you Diabolus."

He smiled and kissed her hand. "As to you, Aeri." She blushed at the sudden nickname and giggled nervously. He raised her eyebrows at her and stopped smiling. "Is it okay if I call you that?" She nodded smiling softly. "Yeah it's okay." He smiled and waved her goodbye before leaving. She placed a hand on her chest to feel it beating rapidly.
