Promises

************ Livvies POV************
I woke up to a text from my mom.
"Pssst, Mandy, pssst wake up. Please." I said.
"What!" She said popping up in fear.
"Geez calm your self." I said laughing.
"What time is it?" She asked me.
"1:30" I said holding back giggles.
"In the afternoon?" She asked.
"Nope in the morning." I said trying harder to resist the laughter.
"OMG I HATE YOU!" She said screaming.
"YOU LOVE ME!" I screamed back.
"I know..." She said quietly.
"What's that?" I asked sarcastically.
"I said I know." she said smiling. "So what do you want?"
"My mom just texted me. Should I ask to sleep over?" I asked.
"Are you kidding me?!? It's fricken 1:30 in the morning!!She said.
"Should I take that as a yes?" I asked sarcastically. I got hit in the face with a pillow....
"I'll take that as a yes." I said dodging her next swing at me. We were laughing historically.

Conversation:
Me- me
Merm-mom

Merm- hey honey we are home where are you?

Me- I'm at my friends house.

Merm- you have friends?!!!! Just kidding

Me- 😐 can I sleep over?

Merm- of course honey.

Me- thanks mom I love you.

Merm- you to honey have a good time.

End of conversation

I didnt feel the need to text back to that so I didn't. I looked over to see Mandy in the kitchen. I started laughing historically.
"What." She said.
"What!" She said trying to keep a straight face while I was laughing as hard as can be.
"Okay okay. I admit..." she said. " I have a food thing. I like food." She said starting to laugh.
"It's ok. Me too." I said as she got two glasses and poured Dr. Pepper into them. She handed me one and I took a sip. We talked for a while after that. A long while. We talked about many things. Family, friends, society, the past. We were getting close.
"Will you promise me something?" I asked.
"Depends...." she asked turning towards me more.
"Promise me that we will never be the kind of friends that have to change for each other. We can be 100% us." I said getting serious.
"Yeah and we should never leave each other. We'll always be there for each other." She said.
"And we'll protect each other as much as we can." I said.
"We'll never backstab eachother especially for boys." She said.
"I agree." I said contently.
"Promises?" She said straightening he back and putting her pinky out.
"You are so cliche." I looked at her with a face.
"Do I need to get the pillow?" She said sticking her pinky out further.
"Promises."I said sighing.
"Promises." She said contently. We were smiling at each other.
"What time is it." I asked.
"About..." She started to say looking at her phone, "7:00 am."
We were so busy talking that we didn't realize that the sun was coming up. I don't think that we cared to much.
