BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
That's my wake up call...
Literally.I get up and pick out an outfit, which consists of: Old jeans, a floral print button up, dirty white converse, and my signature necklace, which has a cross representing the cross that Jesus was crucified on for us.
I brush my untamed hair and wash my face. I don't wear makeup, so I don't need to worry about that. Rushing downstairs to eat, I bump into my dad, who spills hot coffee on himself.
"Sorry Dad!!"
He grumbles to himself while I eat strawberries and a granola bar.Looking at the clock, I see that I have five minutes until school starts. I grab my backpack and start running to school. I finally get in class just as the bell rings.
I sit down immediately next to Josh Sparks, my lifetime crush, and I feel so awkward!! What should I say? Should I even say anything? I've never really talked to a boy before! Oh my gosh, I am all sweaty and my hands are shaking!
"Hey. You're Cass Sanders, aren't you?" I hear him say. I look up.
"Yup, that would be me!"
He just smiles and gets to work. This should be a great first week of school!
