After this incidence I was not at all interested to attend the lectures, though geometry was my favourite subject . So I went to my favourite place near the river and sat on the small deck there created to tie boats . I was just staring at the sky the afternoon sunlight was brushing my bare skin . It looks so beautiful looking there . As I was staring at the sky someone kept their hand on my shoulder . I thought it must be Amanda, as she was the only person who knew that I come here when I am sad . But when I turned to look at her, she was Rachel staring at me with a sweet smile, as I saw her I ignored her and started looking at the river . She sat besides me and then said
“I am sorry Sam”
“Its ok”
“Please forgive me ?”
“Yeah okay”
“Please just atleast look at me and stop staring at the river”
“No its fine, you say I am listening”
“no but I want you to look at me”
She waited for a while but when I didn’t moved she slowly tilted my face to her's holding my chin and then I started staring at her ocean blue eyes and she did the same . I felt her eyes boring into mine .
“Please forgive me I am sorry for behaving that way”
“Yeah its ok” I tried giving her a genuine smile but I guess she understood that it wasn’t real.
“I will do anything . Please just forgive me”
“ I said I did”
“I know you didn’t . you ask me anything to do I will definitely do it “ she said emphasizing on anything .
“What, anything ?” I asked her stunned by her words
“Yes anything”
“Okay” I said trying to ignore her request
“When you will tell me something I will come to know that you have forgiven me . so plzzz just tell me anything you wish”
Without thinking anything , I never knew what to tell her to do “Okay then” I said scratching my chin showing her that I am thinking .”Be my partner for the prom night “
My eyes widened as I was absorbing her expressions . Her expressions were unreadable . It was like she was in deep thought because she was staring at anything be me . I immediately regret saying that . I opened my mouth to say something but before that she replied
“Yes fine . if you would forgive me after this then I will be your partner “
Smile sprung to my face listening to her words . I was was happy about what she said . We spoke for a while on random things and laughed a lot and then moved back to the class .

2 days have passed and I haven’t seen Rachel around .Is she trying to avoid me for the prom night ? I don’t think so . today is prom night, I guess I should call her and ask where she is ?
