He's still glaring daggers at me I'm shocked I've not been slashed yet and here i was thinking I could just avoid them. I'm shaking uncontrollably, I'm afraid I'll die just standing here .
"Look up peasant" he said with gritted teeth. I felt shiver go down my spine . 'That's it I'm dead I'm soo dead now ' i thought as i looked up with eyes closed in fear. . . . 'I'm alive ' i thought to myself as i felt nothing after few seconds. I slowly opened my eyes to see what's going only to find Duke's face closed to mine with eyes wide .
"Eeeeeeeek-" i said in shock and step backward . "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm so sorry sir I wasn't able to se-"
"Shush" he said as move his hand to my cheek and caressed it . 'eh' i thought ain't he gonna punish me ??
"STOPP!" I heard a familiar voice and saw Leith running towards me .
"Brother Don't touch y/n . It was a mistake don't punish y/n !!. I'm taking her with me " Leith said I'm actually surprised he said all of that without shuttering. Why do he only shutter infront of me then ?
"I wasn't going to punish her i was just going to take her" i heard Duke said something but didn't quite catch that as Leith was already dragging me away.
"Thank you little flower" i said to Leith as he practically saved me from getting beheaded .
"N-no problem y-y/n" he said ' Hah! Back to shuttering are we?'
"I won't let an-anyone touch y-you . I'll always pr-protect you. A-as long as y-you stay by m-my side" Leith said i didn't said anything so he grabbed my hand tightly . And boy was he too strong for a 12 year old? Damn!
"Huh"i said as i wasn't paying attention.

As i was going through the hallways i overhead some servants talking that the princes of Rowan kingdom are coming to talk about some trading equipment .' wait isn't that what trading chief do why is the king sending some princes to do a mere work' i thought but shrugged and moved my legs but their words stopped me again
"Do you know prince sharen is just like our Duke but a little more charming and he don't have this murderous look."
" Yeah and prince lorél he's totally opposite of him he's bubbly, energetic, and flirty but he's also immature" "Oh but that doesn't matter as long as we~~"
I gagged at their chit-chat. *Sigh* only if they know that he's also enthusiastic when torturing someone . I shivered as i remember the novel again . Well it's not my problem all I need to do is stay away from them as i did with duk- no no not like that i really do need to stay away from them . I'll just be with Leith all the time so I'll be safe ............i guess. I sighed again
---------------------------- I am now laying with Leith as it's bedtime for him he's hugging me as i brush my hand through his hair to get him asleep.
"Y-y/n would y-you tell me a st-story " "Hmm of course" i said and started telling Cinderella to him . After awhile when the story ended i found him staring at me with admiring eyes i just softly smile at him .
"Y-y/n when I'll be big I'll al-also buy you a glass sh-shoe then we'll st-stay to-together " he said blushing but smiling widely at the same time a little too wide . I again just softly smiled at him and nodded hugging him too sleep.
I failed to notice a certain blond head n blue eyed man watching me and hearing my story and then glaring daggers at his own brother when I hugged him to sleep.
