Chapter 6

The next morning I woke up with a pounding headache. I guess I wasn't used to singing that much in rehearsal. I have learned alot about my castmates, like how Josh had a obsession with bacon....for some odd reason, or like how Sky's first role was in the Suessical. I learned much much much more about them aswell. 

I felt a breeze as a walked into the theatre, I had taken some medicine before I left, so I was feeling a lot better now. "Hey Girlie!" Amelia says as I sign my name on the sign in sheet. "Mornin! How are you today?" I say "I'm good! How are you?" She replies "I'm good, I woke up with a headache this morning but I'm alright now!" I say excited to start the day. 

We were currently working on a run through to see how much we have picked up, what we already have under our fingers, and what we need to work on. We were currently running through King of New York, we would go over this one a few times on end before we had decided what we needed to work on. Jeff C wanted me in alot of groups for most of the numbers, which was hard for sure but i like a challenge once in a while. I had to hustle but it wasn't too hard since I've done sports. I was currently going step by step through the "spoon fight" that my character has with Race. Ben and I got along very well, which would be good....because we were playing an onstage couple....yeah, yeah I know akward right. But, we didn't let that stop us working together and being good friends! (FREAKING BROOKLYN IS HERE CAME ON WHILE I WROTE THIS PART, IM SCREAMING) "Good job you two! Take a water break everyone!! You are all doing great." Jeff C says as Ben and I finish up. "So, Nova what's your favorite song?" Josh asks me as we take our 5 minute water break. "Gosh, I love them all. But I do fangirl most during Brooklyn is Here." I say trying to steady my breathing. "I just wanted to say that I love how you always give 110% during any number!!" Chaz says to me while sitting down with us "Thank you! That's means a lot to me!!" I say gettting abit shy, thats usually what happens when someone compliments me...I get all nervous and start blushing n crap. I hate it when I do it if to be honest "But, I do get very emotional during Once and For All." I say adding on to my previous conversation with Josh "honestly me too girl!!" Josh replies "ESPECIALLY WHEN IT GETS LIKE SOFTER YA KNOW, LIKE WHERE IT GOES 'ONCE AND FOR ALL THERES CHANGE COMING ONCE AND FOR ALL THEY'RE GETTING TO OLD, TO WEAK TO KEEP HOLDING ON, A NEW WORLD IS GUNNING FOR YOU, AND JOE WE IS TOO TILL ONCE AND FOR ALL YOUR GONE!" I say practically yelling. "YES!!" Josh says matching my tone. 

Today was a fun day, I entered my hotel room with a grin on my face. This was because theatre was my happy place. When my dad left us after having an affair, I found theatre. And that's what pretty much saved me.
