Nothing happened last night, the plan wasn't off to a great start. Did he even have a plan? He didn't know but he did know he had another chance tonight. He was going to the club tonight, he had to speak to her. Try and get through to her. While Ransom was excited to see her, to spend time with her, Dianna was an anxious mess. She knew it wasn't just a coincidence that Ransom was here.

The whole drive to the club she was bouncing her leg up and down, just like normal. "Hey can you stop that? It's distracting." William spoke, turning to look at her only for a second

"Oh, yeah sorry" she chuckled awkwardly, stopping her leg

"You're going dress shopping tomorrow, I have everything organised all you have to do is show up" he spoke looking down at his phone

"Oh, is anyone else going?"

"No, it'll just be you"

"Hmm" she nodded slightly

"Are you not grateful?" He looked up from his phone, looking at her

"No, no. I am, thank you"

He nodded turning his attention back to his phone

Once the car came to a stop William got out, leaving Dianna to get out the car herself. He even went into the club without her. She sighed making her way into the club. As soon as she walked in she had lost him, so she went straight to the bar.

"Gin,-

"Gin n' tonic and a beer" Ransom spoke, appearing at her side, ordering the drinks

She sighed "how did you know I was here?"

"I just know you" he shrugged as he got handed his beer

"Whatever you say" she rolled her eyes taking a sip of her drink

"I thought I would've seen your name on every shelf by now, still no book?" He asked

"I don't write anymore. It's a waste of time"

"A waste of time? You love writing" he looked at her, Sarah was right. This wasn't Dianna, it was like she was lost

"I loved a lot of things, but things change" she shrugged her shoulders

He sighed, trying to think of a way he could get through to her. A way he could see Dianna, the real Dianna come through once more. "Can we go a walk?" He questioned

She looked up at him "I don't think that's a good idea, William-"

"Do you really think he's going to notice?" He looked over to see William dancing we a large group of women "he doesn't seem to notice a lot. It'll just be us, just us talking"

She sighed looking back at William then back at ransom "will you make it worth my time?"

"Always" he smirked, grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the club

He pulled her all the way down the streets until they came to an empty one, ransom finally glad they were alone. "So...how have you been?" He asked, breaking the silence

"I've been...good. Yeah, good"

"So convincing" he chuckled, shaking his head

"Did you come here just to make fun?" She sighed

"No, no I'm sorry. You just seem...different" he shrugged

"We all Change eventually"

"Sweetheart-"

"Don't sweetheart me, I'm not in the mood"

Ransom sighed nodding "you didn't tell him about us did you?"
