"Violetbreeze, stop tormenting the poor kit." Eclipse jumped, turning as another cat padded through the den entrance. He was a little bit taller, with messy fur. He had scars on his cheek, the side of his throat and his shoulder-blade.

His green eyes shone, and Eclipse noticed one of them was pure blind. "You're awake. That's good...you were in a very poor shape when we found you. Bleeding heavily and half-drowned." He sniffed the wound on Eclipse's side. "You're already going to have a scar...but it shouldn't hinder you."

"Are you the damn medicine cat or am I?" The she-cat, Violetbreeze snarled, huffing. The tom rolled his eyes, smiling amused.

"How about you go and check on how Hazeclaw in the nursery? I'll speak to the tom here." Violetbreeze bowed her head, walking out. The tom smiled down at Eclipse, still trembling silently in the nest.

"Don't worry about Violetbreeze. She's got a sharp tongue, but her healing is beyond- anything we have." The tom walked out, before putting down a mouse. "Are you hungry? You've been out for- a couple hours. It's a new day." He chuckled.

Eclipse leaned forward, biting into the mouse carefully. He sighed, before hungrily eating the rest. It took until now for him to realise he hadn't exactly had anything last night. Moving his tongue over his mouth, he looked up.

"Who are you? Where- Where am I...?"

"Ah- right." The tom cleared his throat, smiling as he helped the tom up. "My name is Venomstrike. You're in MoonClan."

Eclipse blinked. "MoonClan? I-I've never heard of it."

"That's because no one knows we're here. Only one ever did, your mother."

Eclipse's eyes went wide as he looked up. "You knew my mom!?"

Venomstrike chuckled, nodding. "Indeed,' he murmured. 'She was the one who made sure we didn't starve." He waited until Eclipse steadied himself, before gesturing for him to follow. "Come on. There's someone whose been waiting a long time to meet you..."

Eclipse tilted his head, wincing at the scar that was now across his side, but followed after the tom carefully.

He looked about, eyes widening. The clan seemed to be in a mixture of forest on the edge of a mountain range. There were small dens, some warriors sharing tongues and prey, but only one or two. There were queens and elders, many cats sporting scars of many shapes and sizes, some having torn eyes.

He winced, crashing into one of them. The tom he'd crashed into snarled, frightening Eclipse with his purely blind eyes, claw marks across them the clear cause.

"Watch where you're going!" He snarled, sniffing. Venomstrike huffed, keeping a growl in his throat.

"Careful of your words Rowanthorn...this is the leader's guest after all." The tom's eyes seemed to look fearful for a moment, before huffing, walking off.

"Don't worry about Rowanthorn. He's a formidable warrior, sure, but he wouldn't harm a kit or apprentice."

"He- He's blind..."

Venomstrike chuckled. "Your viewpoint is so limited little kit. We'll change that." Venomstrike kept walking through, getting to a den held a little higher, a small crevice in the mountain. He helped Eclipse up them, smiling slightly.

"My leader? He's awake."

Eclipse swallowed, whining quietly as a black form started to move from a nest. Venomstrike nudged him carefully, giving a final smile as he walked away. Eclipse's heart pounded faster as the supposed leader stood, turning to him. She had a pure black coat, and heterochromatic blue and yellow eyes, that glistened and softened at the same time upon seeing him.

"My...look at you..." She murmured. She sounded older, and from the crease lines around her eyes, he assumed she must have been close to an elder, yet she seemed as spry as a young warrior. She moved towards him, moving a paw out.

Eclipse flinched, expecting a hit, but instead blinked in surprise as her paw carefully touched his cheek, the she-cat smiling thoughtfully. "You have your father's eyes..."

"Wh-Who are you?" Eclipse whispered, trying to calm his shaking in front of the opposing figure. She blinked once, twice, before smiling.

"My name is Moonstar little one...'

'I'm your grandmother."
