Chapter 52: Duality.

IN KOREA...

Jungkook was working in his office room when suddenly his phone started to ring.

He grabbed it and looked at his screen to see a face time call from Y/n.

He smiled and answed it.

Y/n waved her hand while smiling widely.

Y/n: Jungkook! How are you?

Jungkook chuckled and waved his hand back.

Jungkook: I'm good, what about you?

Y/n: I'm good too, tomorrow i have a photoshoot with another model.

Jungkook: Really? It sounds cool.

Y/n: Yeah, and what are you doing?

Jungkook sighed and showed his messed up table.

Files, papers and stuffs were spread all over his desk.

Jungkook: The load of work i have to do since Taehyung left and hyung got amnesia, is too much for me.

Y/n suddenly looked down sadly and spoke lowly.

Y/n: Is he in his office room?

Jungkook: Ah...yes, he is.

Y/n suddenly felt nervous.

Y/n: Kook...can you please show him to me...?

She asked with a knot in her throat and Jungkook only felt bad for her.

He smiled to cheer her up.

Jungkook: Ok! But how?

Y/n shrugged her shoulders.

Y/n: I don't know...

He breathed out.

Jungkook: Wait i have a file to give him, so i'll record him. Keep your eyes wide open.

Y/n smiled.

Y/n: Thank you.

He chuckled.

Jungkook: No problem.

He got up and grabbed the file before walking out of his room.

Y/n looked at him who was walking through the corridor as he looked at her time to time while smiling.

Soon he arrived at Jimin's door and gestured Y/n to stay quiet.

She nodded and he knocked on the door.

Jimin spoke by the other side of the door.

Jimin: Come in.

His voice, the voice that Y/n was dying to hear.

Jungkook pushed open the door and entered in.

He kept the phone straight in his hand and walked to Jimin.

Jimin looked up at Jungkook, emotionless.

Jungkook: Your file...

He gave the file to the older and he grabbed it.

But while taking it, his eyes fell on Jungkook's phone randomly.

Y/n, who was looking at him with a lot of love and pain, made an "eye contact" through the phone.

He didn't know that his love was looking at him.

It felt so real to her that she sensed her heartbeat increasing.

Jimin then opened the file and started to scan it.

Jungkook looked at his phone secretly and saw her admiring him with a lot of love.
