"Okay, but please be careful, Senpia."

"Don't worry," Drake chimed in. "We'll keep him safe."

"Yeah, I'll be fine, Mash, promise."

"Alright, good luck everyone." That was the last we heard from Mash.

The company moved west, Cas' face growing grim as we did so. He was currently striding ahead of me, but I sped up to match his pace. "Hey," I nudged my shoulder against his. "You going to be okay?'

Giving a stale laugh, he passed me a glance. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"Well, you're more sensitive to the darkness, I just wasn't sure if it was getting to you." There was something else, another reason for my concern but I couldn't remember. The forgetfulness encompassed the wispy delusion of deja vu.

"Hmph, I mean, it makes me feel gross, but not so much that I can't stand fighting it. I'd be more worried about you. It wasn't me who got infected by that darkness last time we encountered it."

"True, I guess." Letting the matter go, I shook away the worry for Cas. He was right, there wasn't a reason I should be concerned.

It got to the point where I could feel the air bogged down as well. We were definitely heading in the right direction. Afterwards, it didn't take long for the massive golem to appear, coming forth back in its full strength. A fervent glow sparked to life in Achilles' eyes as he drove forward ready for a rematch, running off with neither his team, nor an okay from Fujimaru. "Achilles!" The boy called out, but the Greek didn't heed him. Giving up on the rider, Fujimaru shook his head, laying forth the rest of his instructions to the front team.

Support kept back with Fujimaru as the rest of Achilles' team went and joined him. Cas gnawed on his lip, processing his thoughts while his gaze flashed between the enemy and our master. After a moment, he finally spoke. "Master, if we stay back here and just target the beast, our true enemy will get away again. The golem is just a distraction. We need a team to go behind and target the mage."

Fujimaru nodded, still looking on at the front team's fight. He might've already been having those same thoughts. "I agree, but we do need someone to stay back and give the front team support." His eyes instantly went to me. It was obvious he intended me to be that person, probably some sort of penalty for getting injured and halting the mission last time.

I sighed, but it was neither me nor Fujimaru who spoke, but Moriaty. "Don't worry, I've got this covered, let those two go have their fun." The three of us looked at Moriarty, but his eyes were fixed on the battle ahead, missiles never ceasing their whistle. Fujimaru turned to Cas and I next, with tight lips and a creased brow.

"I know you're concerned," Cas spoke. "But we'll take 'em down this time, promise. Last time, I made a stupid mistake, and it won't happen again." His eyes momentarily flashed to mine.

"Alright," Fujimaru exhaled a long sigh. "You two can go, but no more dire injuries please."

"Will do." Cas and I both responded. With that, we had Fujimaru's leave, and didn't hesitate in bolting towards the enemy.

"Yes," Cas said to me. "You better not get yourself injured. I don't have enough of that potion left to heal you with."

"Hm, okay, next time you become a sitting duck with the enemy's attack flying at you, I won't save you."

A smirk took his lips. "Good."

Around the shadowed figure the air was drenched in darkness, the creatures sneer pulsing through it towards us. Cas didn't hesitate to sneer back. A heat was in Cas' movements as he sprinted, cutting through the blackened air to strike the mage. Runes on the head of his staff, he smashed it into the figure, impelling it backwards.
