Penelope's POV

"Bye Penelope" Carmen said goodbye to me before she went home.

I was about to go home when I heard Isabela's voice.

I immediately searched for where she was and when I found her I saw Carmen's brother with her.

I immediately hid behind a tree and watched them.

"I like you" I heard Isabela say to Nicolas.

I didn't know what was happening to me but when I heard that I suddenly felt like someone stab me in my chest.

I stepped back a little I stepped on a fallen tree branch.

The two of them turned to where I was standing so i quickly hid myself.

When they look at each other again, i began to run away from them.

Once i arrive in my room, i slumped myself on the bed and screamed on my pillow not wanting to hurt Dolores because i know she'll hear me.

2nd person POV

You are now outside the house to stare at the stars in the sky and calm yourself down.

You skipped dinner earlier because you were too lazy and too tired.

As you stared at the moon you felt someone sit beside you.

Penelope immediately turned to that person and when you looked at them, Mirabel flashed a sweet smiled at me.

"why are you still awake?" She ask.

"can't sleep. How about you?"

"I can't sleep either" She reply and giggled a bit.

a comfortable silence engulfed us as you keep staring at the moon.

"You look sad. Are you okay?"

You look at her, plaster a small smile and nod in response.

"It's beautiful isn't it?"

"The moon?" She asked and you nod again.

"Yes"

"But tell me, are you really okay?" She added.

Penelope giggled a bit and smile at her.

She might be more younger than you but she's more matured than you.

You honestly feel bad about her not having gifts just like the others but then you realized that with or without a powers, all of us are special.

"Mirabel... What if... What if you like someone and then that person like someone else. Will you still admit that you like them or not?" You asked her as you looked down.

"I won't do anything" Mirabel said without hesitation.

"Why?"

"I don't know, I'm still 15 dummy" She said and giggled.

"Why did you ask? Do like someone?" She added.

You nodded in response and lean your head on her shoulder.

"Who's this lucky person"

"Your sister" you whispered.

"Luisa?!" She asked in shock.

"No, it's Isa" You said and the girl's eyes widened even more.

"Are you serious?!"

"Yes i am"
