When morning arrived, the light streamed into the tent. I first noticed a bright light on my eyes. Once I woke I immediately squinted from the bright rays.

I then realized I wasn't in my bunk.

"Saints" I hiss. I look around me franticly. Trying to remember what happened last night.

Then someone entered the tent.

It was Silas.

That's when I remembered everything.

A smile came to my face. I quickly sat up.

Silas came over and sat by me.

"Did I wake you?" His voice sounded bright and awake.

I yawned and shook my head.

"Maybe you should have, it already looks late in the morning" I sighed.

He grinned. "I asked the head Cartographer when your lessons start and he said not till this evening" he told me proudly.

"Tch" I rolled my eyes.

"Can you go fetch my trunk? It's the one with a scarf tied to the handle-"

"You mean the one I gave you when you were cold while doing chores?" He interrupted excitedly.

I sighed.

"Thats the one" I confirmed.

He smiled even bigger.

"I can't believe you still have it" he teased.

I gave him an unimpressed raise of the eyebrow.

"Please" I asked gravely.

"Ok ok I'm going" he said. He hastily leaned over and ruffled my hair. I hit his arm and he quickly got up.

I watched as he left the tent and waved to me like a kid.

I waved back with a laugh. He then disappeared to find my trunk.

I flopped back down onto my pillow.

"Is this even real? How could I be so lucky to find him again?" I wondered.

I found a hairtie in my pants pocket and put my hair into a low ponytail.

I wondered how Alina was fairing with her "boyfriend" I still didn't know his name.

I found it so fascinating that she could draw people. Maybe I should try it sometime.

I rolled around the floor, my patients running out quickly.

"Uhg" I moaned. Boredom officially had me in its grasp.

A few minutes past and I found myself eating all of the bread on the table.

I slathered some butter onto a piece and went to bite into it...

But I was rudely interrupted by the one and only Silas.

He burst into the tent, quite violently might I add.

I quickly put the bread down like I had never touched it.

"Yes?" I asked.

I then noticed he didn't have my trunk.

"Ummm, you couldn't find it?" I asked.

He was just staring at me with scared look.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. What's got him so uptight?

"Everything alright?".

He quickly turned around and closed the tent flap.

What's got him so riled up?

He then came and sat right in front of me.

He looked reluctant to speak...

"Your unit has been assigned to go on the skiff" he said. He sounded very worried.

I saw the fear in every fiber of his being.

"I can't let you go" he said seriously.

I took his shaking hands in mine.

"I won't" I promised.

"But I need my trunk so I can get dressed" I told him.

"Your Grecia now, I'm gonna see if Savi has an extra kefta with her" he stated.

"Who's Savi?" I asked.

He smiled. "My friends sister, she's really nice and looks the same size as you so I think it'll work" he told me.

"Oh ok, well hurry...these clothes aren't very warm" I said.

He smiled and left right away.
