A few more weeks filled with quick, yet sweet glances at the boy passed, the girl's nervousness never seeming to falter.

The teacher announced a new unit of colored works, the first being of a one of themselves, using abstract colors to express how they felt within. They were to make a quick drawing on paper before they made it full scale, color included. After explaining the project, he went to talk about what shades and intensities of colors represented different emotions.

As the girl sat puzzled with how to began, she realized that she was unsure of how she really felt. Her feelings where always so jumbled, so she figured shed start from there.

Right before the class was about to end, she glanced around the room. She smiled at all the lovely drawings there were taking place around her. She loved seeing the different ways people say themselves, even if she didn't know them.

Her smile faded when she landed on a drawing filled with deep blues of all different shades. A frown them formed as she took it in. When her eyes wandered upwards to find the artist, she found the boy with rosy cheeks and an unrecognizable emotion set in his eyes.
