Krithi's pov:

It was match day. I was sitting along with the Wags and other staff. I was so excited as I have never watched a cricket match in a stadium before. 'Why waste so much money when you can watch in on tv. You can't even see the players properly from the stadium.' was what my father would tell each time I asked him.

Not only is this my first time at the stadium but I am also sitting with the WAGS. How cool is this!

Just then my phone buzzed with a notification.

Shreyas: Hey where are you?

Krithi: With the WAGS and staff for  watching the match.

S: Wait I am coming.

K: Where are you now?

S: On the bench.

K: Then maybe you should stay there. No other player is here. So..

S: Because they don't have anyone to meet. But I have😁

K: No one to meet? Their girlfriends and wives are here!

S: But meeting them is prohibited during the match.

K: So you can come here! Pity for you to not have a girlfriend

S: Pun intended??

K: Umm, maybe😁

S: I am here

K: Where

'Turn back.' I heard him say.

'Hey.'

'Is anyone sitting here?' he asked pointing at the seat next to me.

'No. But don't sit next to me.'

'Why?'

'Because I don't want to be in the headlines as Shreyas Iyer's new girlfriend.'

I don't actually mind it.

'You are just over thinking.'

'Of course not.'

'Ok then. I'll sit leaving a seat in between. And no more discussion about this.' he said.

'Your wish.'

'Krithi, Thank you.'

'For what? Letting you sit here?'

'What? No! For the motivational speech last night. '

'Don't even mention it. That's nothing. I just said what I felt.'

'But it did bring an impact on me. Glad to have spoken to you then.'

'So you are glad only for that one conversation?' I teased him.

'I am glad to have found a friend in you.'

'Only friend or something else?' Hardik said coming to us.

'I'll throw you down from here.' I said.

'Krithi, for the third time-'

'You are hating me?' I prompted

'Yes.' he said faking a sad face.

'You guys, stay quiet. The match is about to begin.' Anushka said.

'Ok bhabi. As you say. We don't even have another option.' Hardik joked.

'Why are you two here?' she asked them.

'Shrey couldn't control himself from talking to her. But if the cameraman captures them together, they'll cause a havoc. So I have come too. So it will look like a friendly discussion.'
