Chapter 2- A Night Full Of Death

Beep... Beep...
"Shina?" She answered the phone. Dai Shigaraki, one of the only people immune to it. "Are you okay?"

There was silence through the phone until he broke it. "It's progressing... The curse..." Oh... OH...

Once again, silence. "Are you sure?! Shina are you sure it's progressing?!"

"Dai I just killed some guy from elementary school. That crap is stage 3." He said, coldly, they weren't ready for it. It took them years to get used to the early stages.

"I'll... Help you hide the body.... Send me your location and wait there... See you." She stood up, and ran towards her backpack. They were going to hide some evidence and by the unexpected news it was obvious he didn't have supplies to do it.

Shina's curse... The consequence of giving info on the League to his hero dad. All For One happened to notice his name was spelled Shi (死, meaning death) and na (名, meaning given name) and got creative. A bit hard to explain but when someone calls his name it's certain they will die.

Phase one is not a big deal, a couple hours after it happens the person will die in some way.

Phase two is a bit more disturbing. The person will die immediately after in some unrelated way.

Phase three, the current phase. Murder. Immediate murder. Didn't matter if it was stabbing or something. Just a casual murder.

There was another phase but A.F.O never told them what it was.

A side effect was the guilt ghosts as they called it. Well, they weren't really sure if they had to do with it, but okay.
These were the ghosts of all the people who died because of it. All the people whose deaths he feels guilty about.

10 minutes later...

"

Shina! Are you here?" She yelled, a narrow alleyway in front of her and near its dead end, him, covered in the guy's blood. "I'm here..." he muttered quietly at the back, in a small little corner.

She sprinted through the brick walls to him and pulled him into a tight hug. "What do we do? Burning it or flying to a park and burying it there? Both are posible if we don't get either caught by my dad or a quirk malfunction in the middle of the sky.

"...If we're steady enough I guess flying would be good, try to stay calm, the fire side of your quirk is run by emotions, right?"

He nodded, taking deap breaths before standing up. "Alright, let's hope I don't catch on fire, let's put this guy in the bag" He chuckled. "Feels weird saying that."

"Yeah..."

Flashback

"Shina, this is crusty's daughter- huh- What was her name again?" A few days after the incident. Shigaraki told Dabi about his child with that hotheaded hero, Mirko. A.F.O was really over enthusiastic when he found out about her.

"Dai, Bacon, her name is Dai." He hissed in his trademark crusty voice. "Okay, Crusty. Shina, that's Dai, she's not affected by your situation, about time you had friends immune to it."

She stared at him, he did the same, pretty awkward. "How are you doing?" She asked, breaking the overwhelming silence of the scene.

"Been better... How about you?"

"Same... Not my best days... But anyways... Nice to meet you!" She gave him a sweet little smile, which he returned a bit after with a colder but genuine one.

End of Flashback

"There we go! Let's just hope no hero finds it and if someone does, let it be my mom or your dad." She wiped sweat off her forehead and started packing everything back. "Yeah, do you think telling my father this happened would be a good birthday gift? I mean, it's in a week so..."

"I mean... This was your first one. But you should buy him something anyways." They soon started flying back to Mirko's house, when they were staying temporarily.

"I literally know nothing about him, Dabi probably isn't his actual name. Not even dad knows what it is! They've been married for 13 years, Dai, 13!"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm 100% sure that guy listens to MCR, give him something related to that or go a to Hot Topic, I don't know." At this point the two were throwing random ideas. A fun trip back home after a long night of negative events and lots of blood.
