Ashton Irwin (5 Seconds Of Summer)

"Well fuck!" His voice raises all of a sudden.

"What? What's wrong?" I ask him nervously.

"It's nothing".

"Ashton... Tell me" I stand up from my bed and walk closer towards him.

"It's nothing Cobie" Ashton tells me again in a annoyed voice.

"Fucking tell me Ashton! I cant help you if you don't tell me what's wrong" I start to raise my voice as well.

"Fine! I don't want you to go to the fair with Nathan this weekend... I want you to go with me" Ashton looks over at me with those still dark eyes that are starting to make me feel uncomfortable.

"I can't just turn Nathan down Ashton. I have a feeling that he likes me, and well... I sort of like him too" I say smiling at the thought of Nathan possibly liking me back.

"Get out" is all Ashton says.

"Wait, what?" I stop smiling and give him a confused look.

"You heard me. Get out" he repeats his words.

"But why?".

"Because your starting to piss me off".

"What the fuck? I didn't even do anything!" I say starting to feel angry.

"Yeah, sure. Just please go Cobie" Ashton looks away from my gaze.

"Alright, fine then. Fuck you Ashton Irwin, fuck you" I spat at him before I storm right out of his bedroom.

End of flashback.

My thoughts were suddenly interrupted from my phone screen flashing, letting me know that I have a new text message or notification from something.

I look down at my phone and see that I got a new text message from Ashton. I swipe the screen so I can read all of the message.

Ashton: hey, I know Calum already went by your house to talk to you... Can you please come over to my place so we can talk? Please? I'll explain why I got so angry last week. Just please come.

Me: umm... Okay. Be there in a few minutes or so.

I place my phone back down as I put on some decent clothing and shoes. I grab my car keys and phone before heading out of my bedroom and house.

The entire drive to Ashton's house I felt the nerves starting to kick in. So I played some music to help calm my nerves down a bit.

I take in a deep breath before I get out of my car and walk over to the front of the Irwin's household. I only manage to knock on the front door two times before the door swings right open, revealing Ashton himself.

"Hey" I say to him while I look down at my phones blank screen.

"You actually came" Ashton says with a surprised voice.

"Yeah... I wanted to know why you got so angry with me for no reason last week" I tell him, finally looking up in his beautiful eyes.

"I wouldn't say I got angry for no reason..." Ashton says as he lets me inside his house.

"Oh really? Tell me the reason why you freaked out on me then" I ask him while crossing my arms across my chest.

"I don't think I should tell you so soon...".

"Tell me what so soon Ashton?".

"It's... Nothing. Nevermind. Just forget about it" Ashton waves me off.

"Okay, if you seriously don't tell me I'm going to leave" I warn him.

"I like you" Ashton says quickly.

"What? Did you just say that you like me?" I look at my friend in complete shock.

Ashton nods his head while scratching the back of his neck. Something he does when he's feeling nervous or uncomfortable.

"How come you haven't told me this before?".

"Because I didn't want to ruin our friendship".

"You should have still told me sooner Ashton. I honestly don't believe it would have ruined our friendship" I tell him.

"It could have since you don't feel the same way about me" Ashton shrugs his shoulders.

"And how do you know that I don't feel the same way? Huh?" I take a step closer to him.

"I don't know... Do you?" Ashton stares at me with hopeful eyes.

"I do Ashton" I tell him while starting to smile for the first time in a week.

"Are you being serious right now?" Ashton's mouth parts in shock.

"Yes, I promise" I let out a small laugh.

"Wow, I can't believe this right now" Ashton gives me a wide smile.

"Me either" I walk over to him before I plant a small, but sweet kiss on his already bright red cheek.
