~•| 3: First Kiss |•~

We arrived at the Cullen's house. It was a beautiful large house, with large windows and modern style wood. I get out of my truck and look at the house and all it's beauty, it truly was a sight to see, along with the forest around it.

     "Did you think we lived in a cave?" Emmett asked walking past me and up the stairs, to the front door.

     "No, I just didn't think you lived in a house this beautiful." I said smiling.

     "Come on I'll introduce you to my parents, then we can talk." Jasper says, motioning for me to follow him to the front door. I nod and follow right behind him.

     I walk in the living room to a beautifully decorated house, and a women standing by the door with a warm smile and a motherly appearance. I smile at her knowing she was their "mother".

     "Hello dear." She say bringing me in for a hug. "You must be Elizabeth. I am Esme, Jasper's mom for certain purposes."

     "Hi it's nice to meet you, but please call me Lizzy." I say hugging her back with a grin on my face.

     "Oh and this is Carlisle." Esme says motioning to a man now standing next to her.

     "Hello sir." I say shaking his hand. "Lovely seeing you again."

     "Hello Lizzy, a pleaser as always." He say smiling at me.

     "You know each other?" Jasper asks smiling.

     "He's my favorite doctor." I said laughing.

     "And you're my favorite patient." He said laughing along.

     "Well I am glad you got to meet her, but I am going to take her to my room now." Jasper says, grabbing my hand pulling me up the stairs and I wave to his "parents".

Jasper's room was very pretty with dark walls and dark wood beams. He had a bed, which surprised me since vampires don't sleep.
His room was clean with a bathroom attached to the room.

"Why do you have a bed?" I ask. "I thought vampires don't sleep?"

"They don't." He said smirking. "But that doesn't mean I don't like to lay on a soft bed."

     I chuckled lightly and walk to the balcony and place my hands on the railing looking at the beautiful stars in the sky. "It's beautiful."

     "I take it you like nature." He said looking at me while leaning against the railing next to me.

     "I think nature is beautiful and unique." I say meeting his beautiful eyes.

     "That sounds like someone I know." He says smirking at me, I look down blushing. "Tell me about you."

     "There isn't anything interesting about me. I'm an average girl who loves singing and playing piano." I say smiling. "You're the interesting one, I want to know about you. Tell me something you never told anyone."

     He smirks at me and says, "I have never told anyone that I am completely and utterly in love with you." He walks closer to me and places a hand on my cheek softly, like he is scared he is going to break me. He leans in slowly and gently places his lip on mine, I am surprised at first but I recover quickly and kiss back.

     "I think I'm in love with you too." I say against his lips after we pull apart.

     "Than darlin will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" He ask with a smile on his face and his head against mine.

     "I would love too." I said my smile growing as he pulls me back in for a longer more passionate kiss.

     "Can I ask you something?" He asked holding onto my waist. I nodded. "Why were you sad at lunch the first day I met you?"

     I look down remembering when I almost cried during lunch when I thought about Jane. I gulped and was about to answer.

     "You don't have to answer." He said kissing my lips softly again, no doubt feeling the sadness inside me.

     "No it's fine." I say taking a deep breath. "The real reason I switched school in the middle of my junior year was be-because my best friend had died in a car crash that summer. I didn't feel like going back to my old school cause she was the heart of that school. So I decided to go to a different school. So when Rosalie asked why, I thought of w-when I watched her die in front of me." Tears started rolling down my cheeks as I think about it.

     "Hey shhh." He said placing a hand on the side of my face rubbing his thumb on my cheek. "You don't have to talk about it anymore. I'm sorry you had to go through that but I will be here from now on to help you through anything. You don't have to be strong around me."

     I smiled at him lovingly and leaned up kissing him with such love and passion.

     The next day at school we got so many stares as Jasper and I walked through the school. I guess everyone thought they were untouchable and no one would ever get into their clan. Lucky for me I was used to sticking out, so it didn't bother me that much. As long as I had Jasper by my side I was going to be ok.
