I froze in my seat as I met Rina’s weary eyes

I froze in my seat as I met Rina’s weary eyes. I looked back at Mitsuya and saw him staring at Rina too. I quickly wiped my face clean and stood up.

“Rina–”

“The truth honey is, daddy’s gonna have his first-ever runway show in Hong Kong next week and you will walk with me wearing one of my new designs for the kid's collection!”

Her once tired eyes lit up as she walk towards Mitsuya to hug him.

“But why’s mommy crying?”

“Mommy’s just proud of daddy, that's all!” I let out a small laugh after giving her cheeks a pinch.

I caught Mitsuya’s eyes and flash him a smile. He understood what I was trying to tell him as he returned the smile.

“Did we wake you up, princess?” Mitsuya asked, tucking some of her hair.

I then remembered that she was not wearing her wig. I hate how she got her hair from Rindou. I had to make Rina wear a wig with the color like Mitsuya’s because the moment Rindou or his brother saw her hair then it's over.

“No, I smelled some tonkatsu and my stomach started to roar!” She giggled.

“Good thing mommy cooked a lot,” I added after getting her a plate and utensils. She was seated beside Mitsuya.

The dinner was fine and full of laughs and stories. The two were talking, mostly about Mitsuya’s upcoming runway show, while I kept quiet and just listened to them.

I was left alone after dinner. Mitsuya insisted to help with the dishes but I assured him that doing chores by myself will be fine. He ended up watching some movies with Rina in the bedroom.

I took the alone and quiet time to think. Rina is starting to get along well with Mitsuya and that is a good and bad thing.

Rindou never cared about me, I'm sure he won't bother us again, right?

Mitsuya said that he never stopped loving me. Maybe I should return the feelings he has for me and be officially a family now?

“I'd better make my choices right for the sake of my daughter.”

The day before the runway show.

We were preparing the things that we will take with us to Hong Kong. Our flight schedule is at 11 am and it's already 9:00.

“We’re all set, daddy!” Rina said, voice full of excitement by nature.

“I guess we're ready. But first, I need to go to the boutique to check if Chifuyu is okay handling it for a while.”

We smiled and gave him a nod.

“I’ll be back at 10,” Mitsuya, with no hesitation, went up to me and kissed my cheeks. He ruffled Rina’s hair, or most likely, her wig, before leaving.
