“Mom, where are we going?” Rina asked while I fix her hair

“Mom, where are we going?” Rina asked while I fix her hair.

“To the mall, honey. Mommy needs to get some stuff for us and also, I'm gonna take you to daddy's boutique!”

I saw how her eyes widened in excitement.

“Really? Daddy has a boutique? That is so cool!”

I chuckled at her chirpiness. Rina loves sophisticated style, one thing she adapt from staying in New York. She even attended several runway shows.

“Yes and have I ever told you that daddy is a known designer here at Roppongi and Tokyo?”

Rina's smile grew wide as she heard the information. She hopped off her chair and faced me.

“I knew that daddy's the best! Let's go, mom, I want to tell him right now how much I love him!”

She rushed out of her room, her shoes making cute and satisfying noises and her puffy dress bouncing and swaying on every movement. I couldn't help but smile as I watch her.

I just wish that we could stay like this forever.

“C’mon Rindou! I went together with you to the bar last night, why won't you come with me to the mall?”

The pink-haired hombre whined at the man with a jellyfish haircut who ignores him.

“I didn't ask you to come, fucker. You went to your own will.” He rolled his eyes, putting his cigarette to his lips.

“Please, just this time! I need to get that Burberry collection. It's limited edition !”

He tugged on Rindou's arms, shaking the whole body of the man. He looks so annoyed right now.

“No.”

“Please!”

“I said no, Sanzu.”

“I'll stop teasing you for a week!”

Rindou looked at his bright blue eyes. It tells so much pleading and begging. Rindou let out a sigh for he knows now that he's already defeated.

“Fine, but you're going to drive.”

Sanzu fist-bumped the air, cackling.

“You really are my best friend!”

He hugged the gentleman and messed his hair after running to his room to fetch his car key.

“I hate that asshole.”

We went to a lot of stores. We bought new clothes and new apartment stuff. We also ate at a restaurant and got Mitsuya some food too. Right now, we're going to his boutique and Rina is so excited.

We arrived at his store and saw him talking with Chifuyu.

“Daddy!”

Rina let go of my hand and make a run to Mitsuya who immediately caught her in his arms. I greeted Chifuyu with a smile.

“(y/n)?” He frowned.

“Yeah, it's me,” I smiled.

It was a bit awkward for me to approach him since I don't really bond with him before.

“Is that Rina?” He motioned to the giggling girl who's having a small fun talk with Mitsuya.

“Yes,” I simply answered. He watched the two for a while after turning back to face me.

“They look so happy.”

I smiled at him then glanced at the two.

“Yeah.”

I looked down to my feet and started to fidget with the paper bags in my hand. I'm getting anxious talking with Chifuyu. He knows that Rina is not Mitsuya’s and I can feel that he's a little bit mad about what's happening.

“Please don't take advantage of Mitsuya’s kind soul, (y/n).” He muttered under his breath.

“I will never do that,” I protested. Chifuyu stared into my eyes as if he was looking for a deep answer.

“Whatever happens, your daughter needs to know the truth.”

I know that.

Secrets are not meant to be kept forever. The time will come wherein every little lie will be exposed.

But Rina, he doesn't deserve her.

“(y/n)! Come here!”

I looked at Mitsuya. He's waving at me to come over with a big smile on his face. Rina did the same.

I can't help but feel guilty about what am I doing. I am obviously wrecking the life of these two. They are so innocent.

But Mitsuya said it himself. He's willing to be the acting father of my child. We're both clear, right?

“I need to go. It's nice to see you again, Chifuyu.”

I didn't wait for his response anymore because of the tension burning. I knew from the start Chifuyu hated me for dragging Mitsuya into this.

The moment that I got near them, I enveloped Mitsuya in a hug. I don't know why but I just feel like I needed to.

“(y-y/n),” I felt his body tense for a bit. I looked up at him and saw his frowning and puzzled face.

“I missed you.”

“I-I missed you too. Are you alright?”

The reason why I adore him so much. He always kept asking people if they are alright. Always thinking about others before himself.

“Yeah,” I softly nod. He then shifted his gaze behind me and searched for someone.

“Where's Chifuyu?” he asked.

“I don't know. I left him there.” I pointed at the entrance of his boutique. Mitsuya just shrugged it off.

“Why don't you eat first, yeah? Rina picked this food for you!”

“It's a medium-rare steak, daddy! It's the best in the restaurant.” Rina said proudly. Mitsuya bopped her nose that won him a giggle.

“You really know your thing, huh?”

I watched as the two made their way to Mitsuya’s office.

What if things will just be kept in this way? Will anything fall into a better place?
