Sweet Scents Of Sovereignty

Numberless stars, like billions of tiny winks scattered across a canvas of pitch black, streaks of the occasional shy whites, dashing across the open sky as I open my eyes.

My feet now on firm ground, grey, rather grainy ground. I look around, emptiness populates the majority of the surrounding open land, only craters and small holes be foreign citizens in this ghostly village of silence, said craters sprinkled with little twinkles of glowing dust, allowing vision even though it is an eternal night here.

Gacha Moon. Always so peaceful and quiet, yet so eerie at the same time. Sometimes, if I stay out here in the barren land for too long, I can hear cries, not the kind with emotions, rather, those sounding like the primordial cries of planets, like the cries of a celestial baby, young stars and possibly galaxies being born as they echo throughout the surrounding Luniverse, letting their siblings, these stars and planets already created by Luni, hear thier birth cries.

It's... something else.

I try to appreciate it sometimes but mostly, it's unsettling. That being said, I immediately begin walking, hoping to find the house of the one person that actually lives here.

The creator of this entire universe.

It's hard to miss, such a... house? More like "Palace." A palace, shaped like a duck, of a bright blue light shining for what must be miles on end, even a blind man could see it... though if there was actually a blind man out here, he probably wouldn't be a creation of Luni... or if he was she would try to fix his blindness...maybe create glasses?

I continue to self debate on my blind man brainstorm, as I near Luni's house. As I walk up to the door, a platform lights up with blue lights with my every step until finally I am before her door, a futuristic looking piece of craftsmanship, a cheerful little tune plays, with the sound of quaking ducks unsparingly used throughout the short soundtrack.

Yep. Ducks.

No need to ring door bells nor knock doors, for you see, here at Luni's Ludicrous Lodging...

"Subaru! I knew you'd come! C'mon in!"

She always knows when I'm on Luniverse. Must be one of her powers as a creator, I guess, though my thoughts are occupied on something else...

"Hey Luni, do you think you could make eyeglasses that fix blindness?" I quiz, earning a confused pout from Luni.

"What are you even talking about? Nevermind, here come in, I have something important to show you!" She grabs my wrists, pulling me inside her house without a second thought and before I know it, we're sitting on Luni's living room sofa, the excitement of a ten year old gleaming in her brilliant blue eyes.

Luni grabs ahold of a yellow, duck shaped pillow, a playful quack comes from the cushion as Luni squeezes it gently.

"Take a look at this!" In her hand is a circular duck shaped device, no larger than a smartphone, with a touchscreen on it's  "belly."

"What is it?" I ask sheepishly.

"It's a universal gps, UGPS, for short," she winks, "I made it just for you!"

I look at the UGPS inquisitively, before taking it from Luni's hands. Another one of her gadgets, likely like the many other she's handed to me with excitement filled eyes before. Speaking about that...

"It doesn't look like it's gonna blow up in my face."

"That only happened that one time!"

"Oh, you know it wasn't just with the toaster that makes bread from atoms," I say playfully, "what about those 4D theater glasses? Those also blew up in face."
