"Excellent now-"

There was a rumble throughout the building, everyone holding on to the table confused. They looked around, trying to find the source of the shaking when Okoye called out. "My king," she said. "Look."

She pointed out the window behind where Cassie was sitting. Everyone turned around to see a ship flying overhead, hovering over the shields protecting Wakanda. A ship that looked very familiar.

"Okoye, let our guards know that we have company, be ready for an attack," T'Challa notified her.

"Yes, my king."

"Wait!" Cassie called out to stop them, standing up to get a better look at the ship. Rocket jumped up on the table to look as well. "That's not an enemy ship, it's the Milano."

"That's my ship!" Rocket said. He turned to Groot. "How did the ship get here?"

Groot shrugged. "I am Groot."

"Well, I know you didn't drive it dumbass!"

"It's Tony!" Cassie said.

"Okoye, tell the guards to open the top sector of the barriers. And have a doctor on standby in the medical bay."

Cassie opened a portal as fast as she could, ushering everybody through the landing bay. She was the last one to go through, closing it behind her. Looking up, she watched as the Milano entered the atmosphere, the sun almost blinding her as she watched the ship land. A moment went by where nothing happened. She was afraid that something might have changed on Titan since she was here.

Suddenly, the doors opened, lowering to reveal a group of figures. Cassie felt herself holding her breath as the dust emerged, hoping that all was well. As the dust cleared from the door ramp, she finally make out the Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill, and Stephen Strange holding a very injured Tony Stark. Cassie let out her breath, relaxing as she saw Tony was okay. She rushed forward with Steve and Thor, hugging Tony before they had the chance to do anything.

"You're okay," she said, trying to hold back her tears. "I didn't know what was going to happen when you guys left and you wouldn't let me come after you I-"

"I'm okay, Cas. Everything is fine," Tony said, still leaning into Strange and Quill.

She looked down at the wound in his side, still bleeding. "It doesn't look like you're fine."

Steve and Tony stepped forward, "Just a little patching up in the medbay and he'll be good as new," said Steve.

Steve and Thor moved to replace Quill and Stephen as his crutches, helped move away from the plane and towards the tower. As they began to walk away, the Guardians walking off to reunite with Groot and Rocket, another figure stood still behind them.

When Cassie met their eyes, she felt herself melt away again. "Peter!" she exclaimed.

He looked tired, dirty, and unsure of where he was. But the minute he saw her, it was like nothing else mattered.

"Cassie," he said softly, embracing her as she ran to him. His arms snaked around her body, hugging every curve as tight as he could.

She pulled away slightly, only to plant a kiss on his lips. God, how both of them missed each other. It had barely been a day but one that could have ended both of their lives. She kissed him again and again, making up for all the times she decided against showing her affection.

Leaning her forehead against his, she caught her breath and said, "Never go to space without me again or so help me I'll tell Aunt May."

Peter couldn't help but laugh as he reached down and kissed her again. "I promise," he told her.
