Yelena added on, "Yes! How was your date with the spider?"

Cassie couldn't hide the smile that was forming on her face. "It was good. Like, really good. We went bowling and we kissed again... everything about tonight was perfect."

Nat and Yelena squealed in excitement for her. "That's amazing Cassie!" Nat said, placing a hand on hers. "Do you have another date planned?"

"We were gonna talk about what day works best at school tomorrow his Aunt wanted him home early."

"Wow, what a party pooper," Yelena criticized.

"No, she's usually a really lovely person. She just found out he was Spider-Man and she isn't really sure how she feels about her nephew fighting crime in the city."

"He's still coming this summer to train at the compound right?" Nat asked.

"I think so... I think his aunt will say it's okay and that Tony will be watching him making sure he doesn't get injured or anything."

    "That's good Cassie!"

"Yeah... everything is looking up and the next movie doesn't start until sometime the next school year. It feels nice to finally relax without thinking about what big threat is coming next."

"We still will have missions," Nat added on. "Yelena is gonna come by and train with us."

"And by train, she means I will kick all of your butts," Yelena corrected.

"Or that... and hopeful Peter will be here too and you two can start going on actual missions."

Cassie grinned as Natasha went on to explain everything that they were gonna do in the following months. From Avengers stuff to little things like board games nights and movie marathons. Cassie was excited for what the future had in store. She was starting to not miss her other life. Her one sort of friend and absent parents were starting to sound very unappealing compared to her life here. She took a deep breath and continued to listen to Natasha and sometimes Yelena, not letting the distant future bug her too much.

"I can't believe it's the last day of sophomore year!" Ned exclaimed.

He, Peter, and Cassie walked down the hallway after their last classes. "I can't believe I'm gonna be a senior in the fall," Cassie said, taking in what had happened since she arrived. She leaned into Peter as his arm wrapped around her shoulder.

"I can't believe I'm an Avenger," Peter said, mumbling so no one but them could hear.

That made Cassie and Ned laugh. "Wait, Cassie, did Peter tell you? He's gonna be living at Avengers compound this summer!"

Cassie looked towards Peter with a smile which he returned happily. "Yeah, he did tell me."

"How cool is that?! He's gonna be training with Captain America and Iron Man and he's gonna get to talk with Pythia I mean, I wish I had his life!"

Cassie furrowed her brows at Ned's last remark. She turned to Peter. "Did you not tell him?" she asked.

Peter held up his hands in defense. "Finals had me really stressed this year I forgot!"

"Tell me what guys?" Ned asked, confused at what was happening.

She laughed as she pulled Ned aside from the busy hallway of kids running out for summer break. Peter followed until they entered an empty classroom. "I'm Pythia, Ned," she told him in a whisper.

Ned's eyes went wide, his mouth opened but no words came out. Looking back and forth between Cassie and Peter, he slapped both of them on the arm. They both cried out in a moment of pain. "Why didn't you guys tell me! This is so not cool guys!" Ned shouted.

    "Finals?" Peter tried again.

"A lot of stuff has been going on I thought Peter would have spilled the beans by now," Cassie said.

"Hey!" Peter turned to her, kind of hurt by that statement.

"You can't hold a secret on my earth trust me you have spoiled so much it's hard to keep track."

"Wait, I'm confused again," Ned butted in.

She turned back to face him. "Ned, I know you just found out I'm Pythia and this is gonna sound like a lot but, I'm not from this earth."

His mouth opened in shock again. "Holy shit the multiverse is real?"

Nodding, she continued. "On my earth, all this is a movie that people watch. Superheros don't actually exist."

"That is so cool! I mean, not that you don't have superheroes but the whole multiverse thing. I have so many questions!"

He went to talk again but Cassie put a hand over his mouth. "Wait until we get to Sub Zero. You can ask me more questions once I've gotten my ice cream."

Peter chimed in laughing. "Don't you mean cream?" he asked, proud at his own reference.

Playfully, she slapped his arm. "Oh shut up, come on guys."

They walked out from the empty classroom, ready to head to get ice cream when Cassie accidentally bumped into someone in the hall. "Oh I'm sorry-" She stopped abruptly when she looked up to see Liz standing in front of her. "Liz..." she said, not knowing what else to do. They hadn't talked much since her dad got arrested. She had no idea Pythia was one of the people that helped make that happen but still, she became more reserved and Cassie knew she would eventually be moving away.

"Hey Cas," Liz said, gripping her books tightly across her chest. "I-I was just going to get the rest of the stuff from my locker I didn't mean to run into you-" She tried to walk away from her but Cassie pulled her back.

"Wait, no don't apologize I'm the one who bumped into you... So it's really happening, right? You're moving away?" Cassie asked.

She nodded. "Dad doesn't want us to be here for the trial so mom and I are going up to the new house early."

Cassie leaned forward, engulfing her in a hug. "You can still text me okay? Just because you are moving away doesn't mean we still can't be friends."

When they pulled away, Liz said. "I know, thanks that means a lot..." She pushed her hair behind one of her ears before looking up at the two boys who were awkwardly standing watching the interaction. "I'll see you guys around," she told them before walking off without waiting for their response.

"Well that was weird," Ned said, breaking the silence amongst them.

"Yeah..." Peter agreed before wrapping his hand in Cassie's. "Come on guys, let's get going. MJ is waiting for us there."
