"So," Cassie started. "Are you ready to lose?"

"Lose? I'm ready to dominate." She laughed as she put on her shoes, Peter punching in their names to the machine. "I think you forget I have an extra sense."

    "Riiiight the Peter tingle."

He turned around with a blank face at her. "Aunt May told you?!"

"Yes," she said, laughing. "But I've known from the beginning. Another earth remember?" Cassie walked up to the table, grabbing a bowling ball.

"Sometimes I forget that. It feels like you just belong here."

She felt herself blushing at his words. "I get what you mean, sometimes I feel like I'm meant to be here too... If it's any consolation though, in your comic books it's called a Spidey Sense."

Peter threw his hands up in the air. "See, I would have taken that over a Peter tingle!"

She giggled at his frustration, bowling her first ball, splitting the pins in half. "I think it's cute."

She watched Peter look down at the ground, blushing at her words. It made her happy that she had that effect on him with so few words. "May found out I'm Spider-Man," he said blatantly.

Cassie stared at him wide-eyed, unable to turn back and make her second attempt. "No! Really?"

He nodded. "Mr. Stark left the original suit he made me back at my apartment and she walked in while I was wearing it. I've never heard her curse so much."

"Oh my god, are you okay? Is she okay with everything?"

"She has some questions but I think I've got it mostly under control. Mr. Stark said that he would talk to her as well since I'm an Avenger now and everything. I just hope that I can still stay over at the compound this summer.

"I have a feeling she will come around," said Cassie as she turned back towards the lane.

Taking a step forward, she swung her hand back, letting the weight of the ball take over as she sent it rolling forward to the pins. The ball moved fast, taking one pin, making it push to the side, knocking the other over in the process. The screen above them changed displaying the word Spare!

"Yes!" she exclaimed, turning around pointing at Peter. "That's how you start a game!"

Peter slowly clapped at her accomplishment as he stood up, walking over to where the bowling balls were coming out of the machine. "Nice," he said with a smirk. "But I can do better."

"I'd like to see you try," Cassie teased, taking out her phone. She put an arm around Peter.

    "What are you doing?"

"Taking a selfie with you dingus. I want to remember this night."

Cassie held up her phone, smiling into the camera. She felt Peter's lips brush against her, kissing her cheek as she took the photo. "See," she said. "A perfect photo for a perfect date."

Peter smiled as she watched her take a seat down.
He had scored a strike on his first bowl... and his second, and his third. He started to realize halfway through the night that he should start going easier, maybe let Cassie win. But she knew exactly what he was doing the first strike he didn't score and insisted that he play like he normally would.

The rest of the night was filled with laughter and slightly competitive gameplay. Cassie knew she wouldn't win by the end of the night but that didn't bother her, she just liked spending time with Peter without anyone else or danger looming over them.
