"No promises."

"You're not gonna put it in my suit I'll make sure of it."

"You act like it's debatable."

Cassie went to answer as a boom sounded from the hallway. She and Tony looked through the open door to see Christine and Stephen Strange wheeling the Ancient One down the hallway in a stretcher.

"Shit!" Cassie yelled, she could feel her heartbeat rising faster and faster. The Ancient One was already dying? She thought she had more time! She needed more answers!"

"What happened! What's going on?" Tony said worriedly, checking her bandages for more bleeding.

"No, not me. The was the Ancient One. The Sorcerer Supreme!"

"It's okay they're gonna help her. You said Strange was one of the best doctors around-"

"You don't get it! They die! I- I have to help!" Cassie started to move, trying to stand up from the bed. The minute she twisted her torso, pain shot through her side. "Shit!" she screamed.

"Woah, you're in no place to help, you can't even move," said Tony, gently helping her lean back on the bed.

"You're right... I can't move. But that doesn't mean that I can't help." Cassie closed her eyes in concentration.

"What are you-" Tony was cut off by the sound of the heart monitor going dead. His eyes widened as he stood up in shock. "Cas?" he called, but there was no answer. He grabbed both of her shoulders and began to shake her. "Cassie wake up!" His tone got more frantic as he tried to save her. He didn't know what was happening, how could she be okay one minute and die the next. That's when he heard a voice over his shoulder.

"Jeez, stop shaking my body, Tony. Do you want to rearrange all my organs?"

He turned around quickly to see a transparent Cassie floating through a weird hole in the air. Tony jumped back onto the bed, knocking over a tray in the process. "What the shit!" He yelped. His chest rose and fell rapidly as he was trying to take in what he was seeing. "Cassie?"

"Yeah, it's okay... I'm just in my astral body Strange and the Ancient One will be talking in theirs any minute." She could still see how shocked Tony was. "Did I not tell you I could do this?"

"No!"

"Oh... well now you know." She went to disappear back through the portal to go find the Ancient One when Tony called out to her again.

"Wait!" She turned back to face him. "Are you okay? Do I need to get a doctor?"

"I'm fine, I'll return to my body in a minute I just need to talk to the Ancient One before it was too late."

"Okay, be careful."

"I will!"

She floated through the building trying to find where they could have gone. As she made her way through the operating sector, she flew into a room, seeing everyone standing still. The Ancient One was on the table as doctors surrounded her. Strange was falling back, his astral body had already left his physical one.

"You have to return to your body now you're dying!"

"Time is relative. Your body hasn't even hit the floor yet."

Cassie looked out the window and saw the Ancient One and Stephen floating on the balcony. She flew over as quickly as she could. "Stephen! The Ancient One!"

Stephen looked towards her, his expression changing when he realized it was her. "Cassie! Are you all right?"

"I'm fine!" She told him, before directing her attention to the Ancient One. She felt her eyes start to water. "I just came here for guidance on what to do next... and t-to say goodbye."
