Marvel has impacted many people and a lot of different ways - Cassie Bellman is no exception. All her life she has been obsessed with marvel, first with the comics and now with the movies.
But what happens when she gets thrown into their world? An...
She walked away before Cassie could answer her, draping her bag across her shoulder. "See ya," she said to the air. She continued her way out of the classroom into the busy hallway. It was a half-day so it was time to go home so the halls were swarming with students trying to make their way out of the same building. Cassie tried not to focus on the conversation she had with Liz but she was caught off guard by the sound of someone calling her name.
"Cassie!" said the voice.
She looked around, trying to see where it was coming from. Soon she spotted Peter Parker making his way through the crowd of students behind her. She smiled as he caught up walking with her. "Hey, Peter."
"Hey," he said with a smile. They continued to walk for a moment in an awkward silence before he continued. "I-I was wondering something..."
Cassie furrowed her eyebrows confused. "Yeah?"
"Well you know that I have patrol after school but since it's a half-day I was wondering... if you wanted to hang out?" Cassie was surprised at his question. Does he want to hang out with her? "You don't have to but you're really cool and I wanted to be friends-"
"I'd love to," she interrupted him.
"Really?"
She gave him a nod smiling. It made her happy that he wanted to be better friends with her. She was excited to hang out with him until she remembered... "Shit I can't!"
The smile dropped from Peter's face. "Can't?"
"I want to trust me!" she reassured him. "But I'm having dinner with my aunt and uncle tonight and Tony booked this ridiculously fancy restaurant so Pepper is taking me to go get our nails done-"
It was his turn to interrupt her. "It's fine! Really, I get it!"
They continued to walk down the hall and out of the building in silence. "I want to Peter I just forgot...."
"I said it's fine, Cassie, don't sweat it. We'll pick another day," he reassured her, trying not to hide the disappointment on his face.
"We'll do a marathon! Watch all the Star Wars movies!" she said, knowing that would help brighten his mood.
She was right, watching his eyes widen. "You're a Star Wars fan?"
"I only own like 7 lightsabers."
"Me too! Oh my god, this is gonna be great! We haven't even decided on a day and I'm already excited!"
"We'll here, hand me your phone." He hesitantly passed it over to her, watching as she typed something into it before handing it back. "You now have my phone number, for the marathon of course."
"Just for the marathon?"
"Well I guess if we're gonna be great friends you're gonna need to have each other's numbers," she told him, trying to play it off that she gave a guy her number.
Peter tried to hide back a smile. "Of course, it's a mandatory part of friendship."
She smiled back, starting to walk off in a different direction than they were originally heading. "See ya tomorrow, Parker."
"See you, Potts."
Cassie turned the corner around the outside of the building, out of his view. She let out an enormous breadth. When did she have the balls to do something like that? A ding sounded from her phone. She looked down and smiled at the notification.

She laughed at his text before putting her phone back in her bag. She looked around her, making sure no one was in sight before taking her sling ring out of her pocket. There was no reason for Happy to pick her up anymore if she could just make a portal home. Plus, after he saw that she could make portals, Happy refused to drive her anymore. Slowly, she thought of the compound, making a portal and jumping through.
