Cassie couldn't help but contain her excitement as she did a victory jump in her room. As she continued to celebrate, the door swung open to reveal Happy on the other side, holding a basket of laundry. He yelped when he saw she was in her room, dropping the basket and clutching his heart.
"Jesus Cassie you scared me!"
"Sorry Happy!" she immediately replied, rushing to pick up the basket. When she peered inside, she could see her freshly washed closed neatly folded. "Why are you carrying a basket of my laundry?"
"The maid had to leave for a family emergency I offered to put them away. Wait... why are you here? I'm supposed to pick you up in Greenwich Village in an hour!"
A smile formed across her lips. "I can make portals!" she squealed.
Happy raised an eyebrow. "Portals?"
"Yes! It was so cool watch!" She lifted her hands, swirly them in a circle as the sparks began to flow. Happy's eyes grew wide as the portal fully formed in front of them.
Tony sat at his desk on the other end of the portal, sipping from his coffee mug. When he looked up, making eye contact with them, he spat out his drink. "Kid, what the hell are you doing!"
Quickly, not wanting to piss him off, she shut the portal. The sparks disappeared faster than they formed. She turned to look at Happy who was still in shock. "Well," he started. "I- I don't even know what to say..."
Cassie placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay Happy, you can just say that I am the next Avenger."

Like Cassie predicted, APUSH was just as annoying on this earth like it is on her own. She sat in class almost falling asleep with her head in her hands. Her desk started to feel more and more like a pillow as she let her eyes drift close. Suddenly she felt a tap behind her shoulder. She jolted her body upright and turned around, it was Liz.
"What's up?" Cassie asked.
"I have a question for you," Liz began, trying to whisper as to not talk over the documentary playing for the class. "I think I might like someone."
If Cassie wasn't fully awake before, she was now. Please don't be who I think it is, she begged in her mind. "Who?"
Liz looked around, double-checking nobody was paying attention before leaning in to whisper in her ear. "Peter Parker. I know he's a sophomore but he's just so adorable and he's amazing in acadeca..." Cassie knew that Liz was going on about how amazing Peter was but she couldn't help but drift off into her thoughts. A part of her wished that her presence at Midtown would change either Liz's or Peter's mind. She never would think Peter Parker was this cute in the MCU if it weren't for traveling to this earth. Never before did she ever find him attractive. "So?" Liz questioned her, waiting for an answer.
She was pulled back to reality. "Sorry, can you repeat that?"
"Do you think I should go for it with Peter?"
Cassie opened her mouth to speak but found that words couldn't come out. On one hand, she knew that even if they got together, it would only last for this school year but part of her just wanted to say no. Refraining from altering the timeline more than she already had so far, she resounded. "Yeah totally, you two would be cute together!"
Liz smiled as the bell for the end of class rang. Students groaned at the sudden brightness of the room and the lights turned on and the documentary was shut off. Liz picked up her stuff and gave Cassie a side hug. "I'll see you tomorrow!"
