Suppose that quitting his job as a salaryman and returning to Jujutsu Technical college at a sorcerer was something Nanami Kento felt like he needed to do.

His sense of purpose is doing something he is good a doing at no matter how shitty the people he works with are. (Namely those named Gojo Satoru)

Now his first mission was scheduled and Nanami was off to Aomori¹, with a catch.

He is to be accompanied by a Special grade sorcerer just to exorcise... A grade 1 curse...?

"They'll just be there to observe!"

He remembers vaguely as Gojo informs him that.

That is to say, Nanami was glad he was not partnered up with the man-child.

"... Just got promoted last month." Was the white haired menace's description of the sorcerer.

"Let them experience what a sorcerer of your caliber is like hm?"

If you would call that description that is.

Nanami did not know if he were to be offended about how Gojo may or may not have indirectly insulted him.

Now he stood in front of the apartment the alleged special grade sorcerer lived in at the moment. It was rather close to the institution and was protected by a rather powerful charm.

Nanami arrived at the front door and composed himself. This was a sorcerer notably more powerful than he is. He had to make good impressions and hope that they aren't anything like Gojo Satoru.

In terms of personality, that is.

Nanami knocked on the door and waited approximately 5 seconds before it was opened and slammed on his face again.

Okay, rude.

"Yaga-san isn't home." A small voice yelled. "Please come back later!"

Yaga as in... Yaga Masamichi? The current Principal of Tokyo Jujutsu Technical college?

"I'm not here for Yaga-sensei..." Nanami spoke. "It seems I have the wrong address, little girl, do you know where the special grade sorcerer lives?"

The door opened again and a pair of blue eyes glared at Nanami.

"I am the special grade sorcerer..." The girl frowned. "And for your information, I'm only twelve! I'm still growing!"

Nanami's mind blanked.

The special grade sorcerer.... She is...

"A child? Really?" He deadpans.

The girl hissed at him. He could compare her to an angry cat who's tail had been stepped on.

"I'm twelve!" She repeated "And-"

"Still a child nonetheless." Sighed the bespectacled man, pushing open the door.

"Gojo-san said you'll be accompanying me on my mission."

Upon closer inspection, he noticed how a coat- still a couple of sizes too big on her- was hung around the girl's shoulders.

She had intense blue eyes that hold a certain dullness for some reason- making Nanami frown- and chestnut brown hair that was tied into a ponytail.
