NOT EVERYTHING IS MEANT TO STAY A SECRET
"I love you Hobi, I'm sorry I never had the courage to tell you. I'm sorry I broke your heart, sorry I'm such a coward" I said as I bury my head on his neck, I didn't realize I was crying, he pulled away and...
"Hey baby, dinner is ready" Eli said as she peaked her head in my studio.
"Hmm" I grunt, she knows better than to interrupt me in my studio but she also knows that if she doesn't remind me to eat that i can stay here for days. She walks into my studio, putting her hands on my shoulder, I reach for her hand and pull her towards my lap, she sits straddling me.
"Come on, let's eat, and i promise i won't bother you again" she whisphers in my ear
"I'm so behind" i whine tossing my head back
"You'll get your creative juices flowing after you eat" She said, getting up from my lap and pulling me up with her. "Or you can have other juices following" she winked teasing me as she walks ahead of me
"That's not cool, you are such a distraction" I said, smacking her butt and grabbing her hand as we walked out of my studio to the kitchen.
"OH yoon, you got a card." Eli handed me the envelope.
There wasn't a return address but it said Min Yoongi and the stamp said Seoul, Korea. There are only very few people I know that's still lives in Korea that call me that, and I left that part of my life a long time ago. I placed the envelope next to me, having no intention of opening it. After few days passed, I felt like the envelope is slowly burning a hole on my table and it needed to be opened, so I finally took it with me to my studio and opened the envelope.
"Well It's about fucking time" I chuckled super excited, It was a wedding invitation for two of my childhood friends.

It has been years since the last time I saw my childhood friends. We all met in school, we were the school outcasts, we all oddly met at detention. Jin was the group's "dad" ; he always took care of us, and looked out for all of us. Namjoon was our brains, he was a genius and challenged everyone around him intellectually which would make most of our teachers mad and that would land him in detention most of the time. Jimin was the class flirt, always charming his way into someone's pants but never paid enough attention in class. Then there's TK, Taehyung and Jungkook, from the moment they met they never left each other side, they are like two souls separated in two bodies bound to be together. Lastly My best friend Hobi, If you could put sunshine and happiness in a bottle, that would be him. He had the most contagious laughter and the biggest heart, you'd be extremely lucky to have him in your life. After high school we all went our separate ways, Jin and Hobi decided to stay in Korea and go to uni, Jimin moved to LA to dance, TK to Paris for fashion and art, Namjoon to London to become a writer, and I moved to NYC for music. I didn't realize how long I was sitting here staring at the wedding invitation, but for a second there I did consider going and seeing everyone but I'm not sure if I'll ever be ready to face the things I left in Korea.
After a few hours of unproductive studio time I decided I needed a break and went to the kitchen to make some dinner, nothing like some crispy pork belly and tteokbokki ramyeon to comfort me. Oh man, maybe I do really need to go home to Korea. I was deep in thought I didn't even hear Eli come home
"You must be really stressed that your out here in the kitchen" Eli sneaked in hugging me from the back
"I thought i'd make dinner for you" Yoongi said turning around to face her
"Yoon, you don't have to lie to me, I know when your stressed or something bothering you" Eli said whispering in my ear and kissing my neck down to my collar bone.
"Maybe you should make me feel better then" as I picked her up and placed her on the counter top. She smiles and starts kissing me reaching down for my my shirt taking it off and throwing it on the floor.
"Love you, yoon" she mumbled as she too discharged her shirt and threw it to the floor.
I moved to NYC to pursue my dream to work in the music industry. I worked my ass off starting from the bottom till I finally was able to write and produce songs at a recording label. I met Eli a couple of years ago at a restaurant she worked in, she was the chef. Eli was always up front with her feelings. She knew how closed off I'm with my feelings and I wasn't comfortable expressing myself, so she asked me out, she kissed me first, she made us officially a couple, she approached me about living together, even now she's the first to say I love you even though I'm still unable to say it back to her. I do love Eli, she's understanding and things with her are easy and uncomplicated, she never pressures me about anything, doesn't ask me to do anything I don't want to, but a little part of me still holding back as there's someone who truly owns my hearts and I'm unsure Eli could replace him.
