Mainly headcanons and thoughts on characters, but I do sometimes throw in art.

Yeah, I'm completely out of ideas. So here we are!
I'm gonna start off with this, these are not factual! This is just my opinion, don't take it too hard if I state I don't like something you'd like in a oc, you do you! If you're not hurting anyone it's fine!
Starting off with species.
Angel ocs, I kinda have a pet peeve with them, the angels in skyworld are all dead, unless there's some cool backstory on how they escaped and only later found out that other angels like Pit and Dark Pit existed. Another one is their usually just a bland Pit recolor. Like there's other cool Greek outfits you could do from that time, Magnus isn't a Pit recolor, neither is the little girl.

You don't have to follow things like this, but I just wanna see people being more creative with outfits! Not just, I made Pit's tunic purple do not steal! //Take into account this isn't everyone, mainly newer members of the fandom//
Or hey, make them come from a faraway land like let's say Egypt //or Egypt based place, remember Kid Icarus doesn't really take place in the real world!// So they may have a small clothing change!
This can also go for human ocs clothing wise. Now since I've spoken about them.
Human ocs: I actually enjoys these quite a lot, but they can fall into the clothing rabbit hole that I mentioned earlier.
Non human kid Icarus ocs: please someone, make some more of these. I don't mean like dropping a fursona into the world, but maybe a creature from folklore! Like a chimera, or Centaur, or if there from a different land use references from that land like maybe a Huli Jing. While I may be a bit biased towards this situation due to having a non human or angel oc, I'd like to see more of these!
Now onto the backstories I don't enjoy to much, if their not written well enough, this isn't really a kid Icarus related thing but like I've seen a few like this. //Only a few but still, It's a huge pet peeve of mine!//
-the tragic backstory that hardly effects the oc, I'm fine if you don't want to give them a mental illness or reference any! But if they watched their entire family get killed by Medusa or some shit, and they feel nothing other than: oh well that sucks, or Noooooooooooooo! If you want someone to feel bad for a character, make them enjoyable too much trama or angst can ruin it.
-The back story, where they meet a main character and do nothing with it. Nothing develops between the two characters, they just look at each other and are like: oh we're friends now! Or I love you marry me.
-the extremely edgy tramatic backstory, they acknowledge the trama at least but they turn them into an extremely edgy version of themself, bonus points if their hellbent of revenge and get it with no struggle or mental anguish other than crying all the time and wearing black. Maybe their parents are dead and Hades killed them or some shit, who knows maybe it's even some character they dislike. Even more points if it's out of character for that character!
