- Oliver, you're the weirdest person alive and I'm not sure I'm still glad to be your sister
- Fuck you, Leah, it's not strange I want my first date to be flawless
- You can't even imagine how much I wish this would be your last first date
- I hope it actually will be like this, I'm not sure I could handle one more first date
We hung up and I continued to search for what to wear for the evening. In the end, I opted for blue mom jeans, a tank top and an oversize white shirt. It seemed like an appropriate outfit for the date I had chosen. I told Noah I was going to pick him up from his flat, even though he insisted on getting to the place by himself. We were at the workshop at the assigned time and Noah still had no clue what it was going to be.
- Can you tell what it is? I'm dying from curiosity!
- Don't die before I take you back home, please, I don't want to be any responsible - I laughed breathily, I was still quite nervous, especially because of seeing him after a whole week apart. I'd already forgotten how irresistible he was and his light white t-shirt didn't help, not to mention his tight green jeans. OH, God, I could get a boner before we even get to the part with hands covered in clay and it scared me.
- You will be the only one to blame, Ollie, why can't you just say what have you come up with? - he pouted his lips, pretending to be offended but even like that he looked adorable
- I want it to be a surprise we're already here, just wait one more minute, ok?
- Ok, I think I can do it -he sighed, following me Into the building
The place was very nice. I could tell from Noah's face he was already quite impressed even though he scarcely realised where we were. I took him by the hand as a young woman, who turned out to be the owner of the place, helped us to find the room
- This way — she pointed out — have a good evening — she smiled welcomingly and walked away. Noah and I came into the room taking everything in. I had of course already known how it should look like and what was going to be there but it nevertheless made me hold my breath for a second.
The workshop was made of white brick, large bunches of daffodils were everywhere and the dim, warm light illuminated the whole place. In the very middle was a potter's wheel, next to it stood a small coffee table with a tray on it, which was full of different fruit and berries. Also next to the tray was a bottle of red wine which as I remembered was Noah's favourite and two wine glasses.
- Oh, Lord, Olly it's — he stumbled, covering his mouth with both hands
- Do you like it? I've never actually tried this before Wednesday, but it looks kinda fascinating, so I decided it's much better than a cinema or a restaurant
- You tried it on Wednesday? - he looked really confused and I laughed
- Yes, I thought I had to make a good impression and also it would be a strange date if none of us knew how this thing works and we just ended up drinking wine and staring at flowers and pots, you know
- Oh, yes, that makes sense, actually. I'm shocked, Ollie, it's so beautiful! It's oh—
- Do you like it then? - I had a feeling he did, but I still wanted to hear him saying that
- Of course, I do! Ollie, you could bring me to McDonald's and I would like it! It's not about the place, but about the person, you spend your time with and nevertheless this place, you elaborated every detail! I'm going to cry - he wrapped his hands around my middle, looking at me with the most sincere smile I had ever seen, which made my heart flutter
- I don't want you to cry, Noah
- It's tears of joy!
- I really like your smile, it's very beautiful like this, when you're in my arms - I leant closer, putting our foreheads together
- Oh, you're being cheesy- he smiled coyly
- Don't act like you don't like it - I rolled my eyes, greening at him and pecking his lips— we have to start, I think
- Yeah, let's do it, babe, show me how does it work in here
Fortunately, it didn't take us too long to figure out everything. I was glad I decided to try it out beforehand, so in just 20 minutes we were sitting next to potter's wheel, trying to sculpt something decent. It was, in fact, not as romantic and hot as it was funny. I decided to sit behind Noah to lead our hands since I was the one who knew something. It turned out to be kinda intimate indeed, because my chest was right against his back, I placed my head on his shoulder, which allowed me to smell his scent and feel the warmth his body radiated. Our hands were intertwined as we laughed loudly.
