Lose Control | Book 1

Chapter 7

I started pulling her closer to me by her arm, needing her as close as she could get to me. As I was pulling her closer to me, I heard a soft moan escape her lips. It's was the most amazing thing I've ever heard that came out of her mouth so far. 

Once there wasn't any space between us, my hands made their way down to her tiny waist and wrapped around them. Her shirt must have rolled up in the back because my fingers skid across her soft skin of her back. Her skin felt so amazing too me. Then she finally started to kiss me back.

In that moment it seemed that we were actually meant for each other. She fit and felt perfect in my arms.

Then her tiny arms wrapped around my neck and her fingers started playing with the back of my hair, I couldn't help but groan.

It was, for sure, the best damn kiss I've ever had.

Jessica's POV:

It all happened at once and I didn't know what to think of it. It felt like I was dreaming. 

At first I was frozen, I couldn't move. I was too shocked to do anything. 

Talon started to pull me closer to him. By the movements he was making, it broke me out of my frozen stage and I started to kiss back. 

My mind went blank and all I could think about was the kiss we were having right now. I felt his hands make their way down to my waist and wrapped then around me. I couldn't help but moan, as his fingers gazed over the skin on my back as he wrapped his strong arms around me.

Slowly, my hands made their way up and around his neck. Once my arms was wrapped up around him, I started to run my fingers through his silky brown hair. At my movements, I heard him groan. I couldn't help but pull him down and kiss him harder.

By this time we were as close as we can get and it felt completely right.

I was trying not to let all my emotions out so he wouldn't know exactly how I felt and what this kiss was doing to me, but it was hard. I felt my self slowly slipping deeper and deeper, losing more and more control as we kiss.

I was running out of air, but I was too afraid to break out of the kiss. To afraid that he will call it a 'mistake' or something along the lines of that. 

Finally Talon broke apart from the kiss, but he didn't stop their. He started kissing me down my neck and my spot behind my ear, which made me moan again.

This time Talon took me by surprise and picked me up, with my arms still around his neck, my legs wrapped around his waist. His arms were still securely  wrapped around my waist, as he sat me down on the counter top with himself in between my legs. Once again his lips found mine in a heated kiss again.

After what seemed and felt like hours, I heard the stairs squeak and I knew someone was coming. I pushed Talon away so suddenly, that he almost fell on the ground. I jumped off the counter and hurriedly fixed my shirt and hair. I looked up once I was done and Talon had done the same and was looking at me with a confused look. He was about to say something when Danny entered the kitchen. 

"Hey, guy! What's up?" Danny asked smiling. 

His hair was wet, so I figured he just got out of the shower.

I had to clear my throat before I could answer properly.

"Um, nothing. I just got finished up with the dishes," I lied.

He nodded and said, "Awesome, well I heard your phone ringing on the way down here. I answered it. It was Katelynn, she said that there was a beach party tonight. It starts at six."

"Oh, okay cool. What time is it now?" I asked.

"Uh, it's three thirty right now." Danny said as he looked at his watch.

"Okay, I'll just get something to snack on and head on up to my room for a bit, then I'll get ready." I said as I finally decided to steal a glance at Talon.

He was looking out the kitchen window with a far away look in his eyes, with his hands in his pockets.

"Okay, that's fine. Mom and dad won't be back until later. They went on a date." He said with a smile on his face. 

I couldn't help but smile also. My parents were so cute sometimes. 

Danny was just like me, he envied our parents relationship. Even though he won't admit it, he couldn't wait to find the 'one' and settle down. 

"Okay. Are you and Talon coming also?" I questioned Danny. 

"Yes, of course we are. Babes in bikini's, remember?" Danny said with a grin on his face.

"I should have guessed that," I said basically to myself and continued, "We'll I'm gonna head on up to my room." 

I finished saying as I went to a cabinet where the bags of potato chips are. I saw Danny nod, then I basically ran up the stairs and into my room.

Talon's POV:

I was wondering why she pushed me away, now I know why. I thought it was because she finally came to her senses or something. But I was wrong. It was because of Danny, like always. I'm trying so hard not to be pissed, but it's so hard not to be.

I'm pissed off because Danny keeps interrupting us, I'm pissed because I basically threw myself at her, I'm pissed because I lost control of myself around her, and I'm more pissed because it can't happen again. 

If Jess didn't hear Danny coming down the stairs, we would have got caught. And I can't let that happen. My friendship would end if he ever saw me kiss his sister.  He'd also kill me if he ever saw too. That's why right now, I made myself a promise that I do not intend to break. 

I, Talon West, promise that I will not come on to Jessica Hart in any way. I will ignore her as best as I can. And by the time summer ends, I will be over her. I refuse to lose anymore control over myself.
