Baby!

We have always known the truth.

We have always known what will come of us, but we decided that sentiment wasn't for us, too weak, too sad; we would say.

We acted as if we weren't brought together in the collision of stars and planets, instead we believed it was because our train was late.

But we know that the stars don't have mercy, and the train was inevitable; we just didn't want it to be like it had to be.

Because if we acknowledged the truth as it is, it had to be real, when in reality we are not.

Because baby, all we are is "what ifs" and condolence cards.
