"I gotta go, Peter. I'll text you tomorrow." Ned spoke.

"Night."

I ended the call and stood up from where I was sitting on the couch before walking into my room. I plugged my phone in and sat it down on the stand next to the bottom bunk of my bed. Y/n rolled onto her side and faced me, still awake.

I flashed her a smile before climbing up onto the top bunk and sitting down. I moved over to the side of the bed and hung over the side, looking at Y/n upside-down. She looked at me and laughed. I leaned down further and held on to the bars of the bed for a grip so I wouldn't fall.

"What are you doing?" Y/n asked, laughing again.

"Hanging upside-down." I stated.

"No shit."

She sat up and moved over to me, her face now inches from mine. She smiled and pressed her lips to mine. I let my eyes flutter closed and kissed back.

(I don't know how to describe the kiss but it is the one upside-down kiss from Spiderman)

I smiled into the kiss and Y/n pulled away. I looked into Y/n's eyes with admiration before she spoke.

"Goodnight, Parker." She smiled and laid back down, pulling the blankets up to her neck.

"Goodni-"

I went to sit up correctly and slipped while replying to Y/n. I fell forwards off the bed and landed on the floor with a loud thud.

"Ow."

Y/n sat up and slapped her hand over her mouth to keep herself from laughing.

"Are you okay?" She asked, stifling a laugh.

"Mhm. Yeah." I groaned.

I stayed still on the floor. My back against the cold floor and my arms and legs spread out like a starfish. Y/n let her laughter break through.

I looked over to her, turning my head slightly.

"I'm glad my pain brings you joy and humor." I spoke.

"Sorry. But you gotta admit, that was hilarious." She laughed.

"Not for me it wasn't."

I grunted and groaned while sitting up. Y/n continued laughing as I stood up. I shot her a playful glare before slowly walking over to her.

"You think that's funny, huh?" I grinned.

She nodded, returning the grin childishly while starting to calm down from her laughing fit. Without warning, I lunged over to her and began tickling her sides.

"Peter!" She squealed.

I smiled widely and continued to tickle her.

"Stop it!" She laughed.

"Never!"

"Peter, stop it or I won't give you any kisses!" She stated, still laughing.

I stopped.

"You wouldn't dare." I narrowed my eyes.

"Try me." She replied, also narrowing her eyes as grin growing on her face.

She isn't lying. No shit, Brain.

I removed my hands from where they were resting on her sides.

"Fine, you win." I gave in.

She smiled and sat up, pressing her lips gently to mine. I let my eyes flutter closed and kissed back. She pulled away all too soon and laid back down.

"Can I lay with you?" I asked.

She smiled and nodded, lifting up the blankets. I slipped underneath them and laid down with Y/n. I snuggled my face into the crook of her neck and wrapped my arms around her torso. She wrapped her arms around my shoulders and ran her fingers through my hair. I sank further into her touch and sighed contently.

After a few minutes of laying like that, I eventually fell alseep, as did Y/n.

...

The blaring of a phone's ringtone shook me from my deep sleep. I groaned softly, not wanting to open my eyes, and cuddled closer to Y/n, if that was even possible. My arms were still wrapped tightly around her torso, but not tight enough to hurt her. My face was pressed into her hair and neck and our legs were tangled together. One of her hands rested on my upper back and the other was in my hair.

"Y/n, wake up, your phone is ringing." I mumbled against her neck.

"I'm sleeping." She muttered.

"How are you talking then?"

"It's called sleep talking."

"Well, one of us is going to pick it up at some point." I stated.

"Do we though? It will stop ringing eventually." She said.

"It doesn't seem to be stopping."

As if on cue, the ringing stopped.

"Told you." I teased.

And cue Y/n's phone ringing again. Y/n groaned frustratedly and removed her hand from my hair, reaching over to the nightstand and unplugging her phone.

"Who is it?" I asked sleepily.

"I don't know." She responded.

I heard the phone stop ringing. I assumed she answered it.

"Hello?" She asked.

I couldn't make out what the other person was saying. All I heard on the other end was a yelling female's voice.

There was silence for a second before I heard Y/n gulp and her voice break. I furrowed my eyebrows and lifted my head up to see if she was okay.

"O-okay." Y/n stuttered and hung up the phone.

"Hey, what's wrong? Who was that?" I asked, rolling off her and sitting up next to her.

"It was my grandma." She paused and I gulped, sudden anger filling my body. "She told me to get back there and get my stuff out of her house before she..."

She looked to me, fear of going back there showing in her eyes.

"Before she what?" I asked.

"Before she kills me. Peter, she threatened to kill me." She choked out, tears starting to slide down her face.
