Chapter 2: Work and Motivation

Jay then smacks Tom on the back of his head.

Tom: Ow! *Rubs head and fixes hat*

Jay: No! We are not robbers!

A little while later...

After everyone had picked a sidearm, they like from Alpha's collection in the back of the charger they all decided to explore around Mantle. Although Alpha kept his guard up as he didn't want to run into any trouble. Tom noticed this and then tried to comfort him.

Tom: Would you lighten up a bit Alpha?

Alpha: I'm just being cautious Tom.

Tom: Well, stop nothing bad will happen, I can promise you that.

But then Tom didn't hear a reply back from Alpha and he then turned around to see his friend staring down an alleyway. 

Tom: Alpha?

Alpha: *In a muttering voice* are my eyes playing a trick on me?

Tom: Alpha?

Alpha: *Still muttering* No they can't be here its impossible*

Tom: ALPHA! *Slaps Alpha's face*

Alpha: OW! Tom!

Tom: Finally! I've been calling your name three times!

Alpha: Well, sorry!

Tom: Well, what are you looking at?

Alpha then points down the alleyway.

Alpha: Those.

Tom then looked in the direction where Alpha was pointing and couldn't believe it either.

Tom: What are those?

Alpha: American cars... 

Jay: What are they doing here?

Alpha: I don't know, but I am going in for a closer look! 

Alpha then started walking in the direct of the cars in question.

Rubes: Alpha wait!

Tom: Forget it Rubes, when it comes to cars, he is a real gear head. 

Jay: Well, let's just go make sure he doesn't hurt himself. 

Tom: Alright, let's go!

A little while later...

After catching back up to Alpha they saw him looking over all the cars in the lot in which their was four of them.
