My dreams were nothing but her and the last smile

The smile i saw before she died. The hospital makes me feel lonely, i missed Maple and Jackdaw

Luckily Alex had taken the responsibility of making sure they had food and water I'm thankful to her for that

Sleep was something I usually would desire but now i dreaded it. Every time i close my eyes i relive that moment. Ever. Single. Time.

Today was my last day at the hospital, turns out i sprained my wrist when i was pushed away from the train tracks. It surprised me, i didn't even feel the pain it was weird

Now with the cast on it i could barely move it, i cause its a good thing

Alex came to me earlier today i explained the full story of Crimsons death after she was hit by the train

~flashback~

Alex walked into the room with a nervous expression, i looked up at her from the hospital bed

"I know this wont really help but if you want i can tell you the full story" Alex spoke her tone hushed like i was glass that would shatter if she spoke to loud

I didn't know there was more to the story i just knew she was hit by the train. So of course i said yes

She sat down at the foot of the bed and looked down at my sprained wrist. I pulled the sheets over it and looked down at the ground

She cleared her throat before speaking "well a-after she was hit by the train the train was going fast enough to throw her into the river, from there some bones were already broken so she couldn't swim an-"

"Thats enough" i mumbled gritting my teeth. "Sorry" Alex said now looking at the ground

After probably 5 minutes of silence Alex spoke up "i will be getting rid of some of my little sisters stuff, well just her clothes they don't fit me i have no use for them." She looked up at me "i was wondering if you wanted them, i know you love taking them" she chuckled slightly

I gave her a very forced smile before replying "yeah, but give me a few days after i get out of here, i need some alone time. If you don't mind" i said looking at my sprained wrist

"Of course i don't mind, take all the time you need" Alex said getting up but before she walked out she spoke "by the way doctor Simons will be releasing you today" she said then exited the room

I limped my way out of my hospital room, my legs were badly scratched so it hurt to walk

Alex was given the rest of the day off so she could make sure i was settled at home. I told her multiple times i could get Oscar or Ivy to pick me up but she insisted
