Ikapitong Bahagi

Pinitik ko nga ang noo nang mahimasmasan.  "You and your imagination. Tsk."

Sumimangot lamang siya.

I started to gather all the stuff toys na nakuha ko. Yung nagbabantay sa arcade even gave us plastic na malaki kasi halos kunin ko na lahat ng stuff toys sa dalawang claw machine na nandoon.

What a waste. I should have get all of those stuff toys.

"How come you're now good at doing that claw machine? Dati lang si Arise ang magaling doon eh tapos taga nood lang tayo. Tapos nagka instant fan ka pa maraming nakatingin sayo kanina. Magwo-worry na ba ako na magkakaroon na ako ng kahati sayo?"

I laugh at what she said on the last sentence.

Pareho na kaming lumabas ng arcade at bumaba sa first floor kung nasaan ang marami ring kainan.

" Thalia, don't worry you're my one and only fan, "I said while laughing.

Hindi na maipinta ang mukha niya dahil sa sinabi ko. She look at her camera and said," Kadiri siya ano? Ako daw fan niya? Eww! Ayoko nga! "

I just laughed at her.

Nauna siyang nakababa sa first floor and she vlog the place we're in. Nang makababa rin ako, pinanood ko lamang siyang lumibot sa first floor habang masayang nagba-vlog.

Is this my last memory of her? Seeing her happy?

I smiled while looking at her from a distance.

Napatingin ako sa isang store na bilihan nang mga alahas. Pumunta ako roon at nagtingin tingin.

"Good day sir! What specific jewelry are you looking for?," the sales lady asked.

"Ah, I want to buy my friend a necklace," I said.

"For a Friend, sir?"

"Yes," I said while I nodded.

"This way sir," sabi nung sales lady at iginaya ako sa isang glass cabinet na punong puno nang mga kakaiba at mamahaling necklace.

I looked at each one of it until my eyes landed on a certain necklace. I smiled and pointed at it.

"This one please," I said.

Ngumiti ang sales lady bago iyun inilabas at inihands nang balutin. This necklace caught my attention because it looks like an old pocket watch way back in the 80's or 90's.

"According to the owner of this store and the one who made this necklace, this necklace symbolizes an everlasting relationship between two people," the sales lady said and gave me the necklace. I smiled at what she said bago ako umalis doon.

Pagkalabas ko sa store, it seems like she's looking for me and when our eyes met, she went straightly towards me.

" Akala ko naman iniwan mo na ako. San ka galing?"

"Diyan lang," sabi ko at itinago sa likuran ko ang paper bag na may lamang necklace para hindi niya mapansin.

"Ah, pero nagugutom na ako kaya kain na tayo!"

Napangiti ako. Hindi talaga maipinta ang mukha niya kapag nagugutom na.

"Okay," sabi ko lang bago kami dumiretso sa Jollibee at doon kumain.

After an hour, nakabalik na rin kami sa hospital. Hinatid ko siya sa room niya na diretso sa kama dahil pagod na pagod siguro at inaantok na. Ako naman ay nagtungo sa office ni Tita Amenda. Kumatok muna ako bago ko pinihit ang seradura ng pinto at pumasok sa loob.

"Stanley, iho, did you two enjoy your bonding together?"

I nodded.

"Tita Amenda, you know how I want Thalia's happiness right? You know how I wanted her to achieve her dream and be healed from her sickness, right?"

Napatayo na sa kinauupuan niya si Tita Amenda dahil sa sinasabi ko.

"Graven, you're scaring me right now. What's wrong."

Umiling ako. "Nothing is wrong, Tita."

"Then, why are you talking like this?!"

I step forward and handed Tita Amenda a paper and the paper bag containing the necklace.

"I might do something she wouldn't like but if something will happen to me, you know what you will do, Tita," I said.

Tita Amenda shed tears while I smiled bitterly.

Well I guess, this is my faith.
