"Strength isn't about how much you can handle before you break; it's about how much you can endure after you've been broken"

Astria Belle Crawford hasn't had the best of childhood. The separation from her brothers and father had affected her in...
"No no, you guys should go celebrate," Lydel said with a soft smile directed at Tessa. A side glance towards me from Lydel pretty much confirmed that Lydel had caught on. "Though we will come with Astria to congratulate you all before you leave for dinner." Tessa nodded in reply.
"Do you guys have a ride there? If not, then I could call for some help," Octavian suggested but Tessa politely declined.
"Blake, Esai and Declan have their cars and license with them so everyone will just ride along with them. So it's nor much of a problem," She said. Octavian nodded in reply as she left with a short goodbye to all.
"You should go, they'll be waiting for you. We can discuss everything later," He said with a short nod. I bid them goodbye and left with the three following me.
I introduced everyone to Jesper, Lucien and Lydel and vice versa as soon as we reached there. Jesper and Esai were having a quiet conversation amongst themselves while Lucien, Lucas, Declan, Dianne, Nova and Sandy were... chaos. There was no other way to describe it. Together they were just chaos while Lydel, Tessa, Ellie, Blake and I were discussing about the place they had chosen.
"Is it like a really fancy shmancy place?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows. I was met with synchronized nods from Blake, Tessa and Ellie. I let out a groan before looking down at my plain black knitted dress and worn out shoes that were actually really comfortable. "I don't have any other clothes than this," I muttered.
"Sweetie, that's enough. We will glam that boring dress of yours," Blake said as the other three nodded in agreement. Blake fished something out of the trunk of her car and handed it to me. "Put these on," She said, handing me the thigh high booties.
"Why do you have these in your car?" I asked, changing out of my shoes.
"I'm a stripper so I need to have some essentials," She muttered shuffling something in the dashboard of her spacious car. My eyes widened in surprise, I couldn't tell if that was sarcasm or not. I turned to look at Ellie who chuckled.
"She's joking, she's not actually a stripper. She's not even of the legal age yet," She assured me.
I carefully stood up as I tired to get used to the high heels. The three observed me, trying to think of something before Lydel's eyes sparkled, "Take this," She said before removing her thick belt that had a gold Gucci symbol at the centre.
"That is too expensive and I'm not responsible enough," I muttered taking a couple steps back.
"It's alright, I have more at home. Now put it on," She commanded. I hesitated but did and told me to. Moments later Sandy sauntered into the little circle with a beige coat in her hands and threw in at me. I caught it with little to no effort and looked up at her in confusion.
"It goes well with the outfit, just like hang it up on your shoulders and back but don't put your arms through the sleeves," She said nodding. I did as I was told and looked at their reaction.
"A bag maybe?" Ellie muttered.
"Oh I do have a black slingbag, purse kinda thing," I replied, shuffling through my dance bag before procuring the small black bag, "It has like money and stuff in it, so I think this should work fine," I said, hanging it over one of my shoulders.
After a couple minutes of examination, the all broke into cheers, startling everybody around us. "Give us a twirl," Dianne shouted, making everyone shout in agreement. I raised my eyebrows but complied and gave them a small twirl as they showered me with compliments making my cheeks glow red.
