Tap. Tap. Tap.

Every time her warm, heavy snow boots came in contact with the surface of pavement, it created a muffled tap sound that was somewhat interesting to her ears.

She wrapped her hands around herself, willing to provide as much warmth and comfort as possible as she sped up as an attempt to warm herself up.

Walking down the lane, she pulled at the strap of the messenger bag that hung from her shoulders, making sure the thing stayed intact, she continued on her way.

The cold wind was piercing through the small gap between the nape of her neck and the coat's collar, making the dark haired girl shiver slightly. Despite her velocity, her face still felt too cold for her own liking. She only sped up even further, as she proceeded toward her destination.

When Marinette willingly agreed to get the inevitable ingredient of every recipe, flour from the local supermarket, never for once did she think it'd be an unendurable cold outside. Her mother thoughtfully asked her to carry a scarf, but alas, the forlorn girl didn't give much thought about it as she went out. And now, when she has come through almost halfway to her destination, she solely regrets her adjudication.

Marinette perlustrated at the bag once again, knowing her little kwami is warm inside, made her feel content.

At least someone is okay..

Proceeding further in her way, she spared a longing glance toward the sky. To the blue eyed girl's utter happiness, it wasn't snowing at the very moment, although the sky wasn't entirely clear either. It was nebulous, covered in dark obscure clouds that would start to shed snow any moment now. The girl looked forward toward her destination, and to her downright delight, the supermarket came to view. Only a few more steps to go.

Entering the supermarket, the sylvan smell of freshly cut Pine trees invaded her nasal senses. Eyeing the trees of different shapes and sizes that are waiting to be bought and decorated, the young girl made her way toward the food department.

Picking up a quite big bag(and heavy, she might add) of flour and buying a few more decorative items to array their family bakery, she hastily paid for everything as she made her way out. Wishing to reach her place, filled with warmth and comfort as soon as possible, the girl even managed to almost trip over her own shoes.

Marinette would have made her way to prefecture at the same speed rate, if she hadn't spotted a familiar face, standing next to a traffic light, waiting to cross the road.

Usually, she wouldn't even be able to muster up enough courage to talk to him, but when she saw how the blond boy was trembling in the cold, the girl couldn't stop herself and walked over toward him.

Let it be, if she messes up. It won't matter. His well being is most important.

To say that Adrien was surprised to see her there, would be an understatement. He was beyond gassed to meet his classmate there. When the blue eyed girl came from behind him, tapping on his shoulder to gain attention, he spun around promptly, but was not prepared to meet with a pair of gorgeous bluebell eyes.

Not knowing what to say, he tried to strike a normal conversation.

"Marinette! What a pleasant surprise meeting you here!"
