Author's POV :
"Sahi laag raha hai aapko?" Bondita asked Anirudh and he walked holding her hand to make sure he was ok.
"Hann Bondita" Anirudh replied
"Dard to nhi ho raha hai na!?"
"Nhi Bondita" Anirudh replied with a smile.
"Waise Pati babu jin chizo se aap darrte ho unka sankhya to badhte hi jaa rahe hai din be din" Bondita teased Anirudh "par main ne to socha tha ki mere Pati babu nidar hai...lekin nhi mere Pati babu bhi darrte hai!!" She pretended to be sad and surprised "ek kaanta aur ek bhoot...pata nhi aage jaake aur kya pata chalega!!" Said this she laughed out loud.
"Bondita!! Ho geyi naa tum shuru mujhe chidane ke liye" Anirudh said annoyed and pouted his lips.
Bondita laughed again. Seeing that Anirudh became more annoyed.
"Anirudh babu, bramha samaj ke taraf se bahut bahut badhai ho" Suddenly two men enter in their house and greeted Anirudh. Both of them put two garlands of flowers around Anirudh's neck and handed him a bouquet of flowers. Bondita was surprised and happy.
"Kya ho geya? Kis baat ki badhai di jaa rahi hai Anirudh ko?!" KSJ came and said excitedly.
"Pata nhi Kaka...aaiye aaiye baithiye" Anirudh welcomed them and asked them to sit down. Then KSj and Anirudh also sat with them.
"Jarur Pati Babu ne kuch accha kaam kiya hoga..aisa kaam jisse samaj ka bhala hua hoga..tabhi bramha samaj wale Pati babu ko badhai dene aaye hai" Bondita said proudly and happily. Everyone smiled.
"Humara Anirudh...hai hi aisa" KSJ patted Anirudh on the back and said laughingly. Anirudh also smiled. "Bahu tum jaao unke liye chay pani leke aao" KSJ told Bondita.
"Hann Kaka Sasur Ji abhi laati hu" Then Bondita went to the kitchen.
"Anirudh babu aapne court me jo arzi daali thi na, baal vivah ko abhed ghoshit karne ke liye?" One of them said.
Anirudh remembered that day "Aisa kanun banwane ki koushis kar raha hu jo baal vivah jaisi kupratha ko..kanuni aur samajik rup..dono rup se abhed karar de"
"Ji" Anirudh said.
In The Kitchen:
"Jarur Pati babu ne koi accha kaam kiya hoga..par aisa kya kiya jiske liye bramha samaj se badhayi dene aaye hai Pati babu ko?..mujhe to kuch nhi bataya!! jaldi chay leke jaati hu..mujhe bhi to janna hai" Bondita thought while making tea in the stove. Then she took the tea pot down from the stove, poured the tea into the cup and stood up with the tray "Par pata nhi kyun... aaj ek ajib sa bechaine ho rahi hai dil me..ek ajib sa darr bhi laag raha hai..aisa laag raha hai jaisa ki kuch bura honewala hai" She muttered. An expression of concern appeared on her face "Shayad main hi jayda soch rahi hu..kya hi bura hoga!! Abhi to acche ki shuruwat hui hai... aab jo bhi hoga sab sahi aur accha hi hoga" She smiled and went to the living room with the tray.
