LIFE HUES
My life was a barren canvas
I didn't know what to do
You came and painted trust on it
With the colour blue.
My world was still a little dull
It needed a coat of sheen
In came growth and harmony
With a touch of nature, green.
To add some happy energy
In came dancing, my muse,
The sun rose on the horizon
In its lovely yellow hues.
The trust needed a friend
To walk along ahead
So you sent some warmth and love
With a splash of your favourite red.
A little nurturing and caring
Is now what's needed, I think
So you sent me lovely flowers
In different shades of pink.
Now the world is full of joy
But you gave me even more
Mystery and magic in my life
With your passion purple score.
THANK YOU GOD
FOR THE PEOPLE
WHO FILL MY LIFE
WITH THE COLOURS OF LOVE
