Tonight I was out on my own, all those bastards were "busy" but I know they're lying. They just wanted to get away from me, so I guess the feeling's mutual. I've got a worn out, black, backpack hung off of one shoulder, as well as a pitch black hoodie with the hood pulled up over my ears, making my hearing senses extremely muffled. I continue with the all-black look with a black mask, to cover up any features like my sharp teeth that could make me even more recognizable.
I like the night, I get to hide away in the shadows, spooking anyone who gets too close. Everyone always thinks too much, just turn your brain off and let the moon guide your way. That's how I've been living since I was abandoned by everyone I ever loved and cared for. I really couldn't care less about them now, each and every one of them deserves to rot in the pits of fire we humans like to call hell.
I had no clue what I wanted to do this time, all I knew was that I wanted to do something. It's hard doing this kind of art when you honestly have no clue what you're even going for, isn't graffiti supposed to give a message, a meaning? Do I really want to put my kind of feelings out there though?
I almost walked past the planned spot, lost in my own mind, running circles around myself once again. I think for a few minutes, but then I realize...
I'm not doing this to think, I'm doing this to let off steam, to give my own mind a break. Thinking would completely beat the purpose of this, so I took my hood off and just let my hands move, not even caring if it doesn't even make sense.
I finish dotting my I's and crossing my T's as my mind comes back into focus, I take a step back and look at the chaotic tragedy that I had just finished.
'If you're not angry, you're not paying attention' I had written centered on the wall, in thick, messy handwriting, all lowercase. The words were written in bright, blood red graffiti paint, purposely written sloppily so the paint would be drippy; then behind the words was a huge blotch of black paint. Under the words, crooked, was written "THEY HATE US" the top half of the words were in the black paint and the paint of the words was white, while the bottom half was the same bright red as the other words.
"I guess I finally sent across a message..." I whisper to myself, I get snapped out of my own amazement over my creation from hearing a car in the distance. In this side of town rarely do people go out driving this late, or go out this late at all. I know all the people who do like to, and I know they aren't here right now.
The cops.
I start to throw all my paints and my fold-up ladder into my backpack, quietly putting my hood back over my ears; trying to take the lightest steps that I could as I try to sneak back into the shadows. I just want to get home as quick as I can, I don't have Nex to bail me out this time...
Right behind me was a chain link fence, so without a second thought I let the cat instincts in me rule. I latched onto the chain link fence and jumped right up to the top of it, I hopped down, landing on all fours.
"Hey! What do you think you're fucking doing?!" I hear what I assume to be a police officer yell towards me. I was so done with police officers' bullshit, I was ready to just kick him upside the head.
"Your mom." I raise my middle finger to him as I stand up, I'm still not recognizable from everything I'm wearing to cover myself up. I smirk under my mask and start howling in laughter, he's really pissed now, I could definitely have some fun with this.
"Catch me if you can, did they teach you acrobatics in police academy?" I sneer at him, finding this oh-so hilarious. I let my body weight hop from foot to foot as I let the shadows amidst the moonlight guide my way. I make it to a turning point of the alleyway and I lay flat against the wall, looking back to see how far the officer's gotten. He was just jumping over the fence, panting. I snicker at how incredibly slow he is, just the fact that he's chasing me instead of actually "fighting crime" like they say they do speaks for itself.
"I'll take that as a no, Mr. Officer, I thought you were a crime-fighting hero, huh?" Police have always left a bad taste in my mouth, they're all rich snobs that pick on whoever they can. Not all are bad, mostly it's the fucked up system. It's so bullshit, this cop probably deserves much worse than a few mind games and gym exercises.
I just want to go back home to Cotton, instead of fucking around with a police officer. All my drive to have a bit of "fun" is gone, I just want to go lay down.
"Piss off now, Mr. Hero." I say those words with hatred in my voice, each one being encased in a lethal amount of venom.
I mentally black out from that moment on, I let my feet guide my way, mindlessly. My body had gotten used to the potholes all around and the amount of cracks in all the sidewalks, we've barely got sidewalks back here to begin with.
I'm gonna be so tired in the morning because of all this shit, why did I even decide to go alone? Usually Cotton comes with me at the very least, that big pile of fluff can make anything fun. I just hope they're not too worried about me right now... I kinda disappeared without telling them where I was going...
As I step up to the very small, beige house that me and Cotton like to call our home, I see Cotton through the big window in the front. They're on the phone it looks like, as they're pacing back and forth, a mug in hand. As they turn right around, towards the window, me and Cotton catch each other's gaze. They turn right back around and take a moment to put the phone down on the coffee table next to them.
Well, time to get scolded again...

General FictionI've realized that I'm too shit at finding motivation to ever write a complete story on a deadline, so I'm just going to make this so I can have a place to put all my works. Making a whole book for like 2 chapters that I never touch again seems stup...
