New Romantics ( Script Pilot Preview)

A/N : Hi, so I've been writing on here since I was about 13 years old and then didn't really do much for a while and now I'm back to share the first twenty pages of the pilot of a show I'm trying to pitch.  I wrote this as a 40K word novel when I was 16, a horrible first draft. Then, I never quite let go that this idea could create a whimsical tale for so many girls that looked like me to get lost in.  So for the past three years, I've been developing it as a script. Knocking on doors of agents, producers and anyone that might listen to me really. There's been a lot of encouragement and support which I'm so so grateful for but ultimately the odds are stacked again me and I met closed doors. 

Sometimes when doors are always closing, maybe I have to make my own. A few months ago I started posting about my show on Tiktok and I was overwhelmed by the support. Now I've decided to share the first twenty pages of the script on here. I don't think I've ever heard this be done before but i guess what do I have to lose? Either share this story and let people that I know will enjoy it finally hear it or let it get lost in the noise of query letters right? 

Even if this doesn't get made, I just want to know people have read this story, sharing the story is really my ultimate goal.

Because it's a script, the format may take some getting used to but I'm also quite a descriptive screenwriter so hopefully it's okay.  I'm really proud of this pilot script that i've rewritten so many times now and as long as one person wants to hear the story, it's better I tell it any way I can right? 

I'm pretty nervous to be doing this and hopeful too but also scared to have expectations? Ah, i've rambled long enough. Please, have a look into the world I've been crafting for so many years and let me know what you think.
