Chapter 1 - Here's our Mahir

Here's a 25 year old business man who always wears a black suit who lives in Mumbai whose mere shadow scares the lives out of devils.

Neither a devil nor a angel but mere human who never uses his heart but believes in truth and justice more than anyone .

People call him Mumbai ka Sher cause not only he is the youngest entrepreneur of the city but is the ruler of the whole city .
Let it be film industry , politics , any business ,everywhere his industry is the household name.
He had a huge fandom.

Entirely a private person ,talks less stays in a Palace he built located at the center of the city .

With the view of the Mumbai beach and trees ,the royal manshion looks like another world..
When nothing comes of help,people come to this lion to help them handle their problems .

Mahir was like this even before 2 years when he lost his parents.

His parents (Ram and his step wife - Janhvi, mahir's birth mother died during his school days for unknown reasons,his dad said it was a car accident but Mahir suspects it's a lie ,few years later to Mahir's birth mom's death , Mahir's dad married Janhvi who worked for the family since Mahir was a child as the  secretary for their businesses.
Contrary to what others thought,Mahir always loved Janhvi as his own mom and never differentiated her from Seetha ,it took him sometime to process his mom's death but Jahnvi has always had Mahir's back and Viya was very attached with Jahnvi since she was an infant.Jahnvi embraced Ram's past and loved him for what he was.They were the ideal couple though they both had married in a unexpected situation .) His parents came back from US and settled back here to do charitable work and worked against terrorism and crimes of the nation.
That's why though he did good he never showcases it in front of people .
He is known as the CEO and founder of Sehgal Industries .

Mahir's father Ram Sehgal ( Arjun Bijalani) was a business man who had nothing while he came to Mumbai he started with a mere restaurant in Mumbai which then expanded to various countries in the world.

Mahir's mother Seetha Sehgal(Mouni Roy ) worked as an IAS officer for 15 years after which she took voluntary retirement due to her health issues .

Ram and Seetha meet each other in a friend's meeting and both fell in love in their outings .
They had no families ,Ram's mother  died in a car accident ,then Ram's dad remarried but after 3 years he died ..So Ram had a step mom who threw him out of his home when he was 14 and then he lived on his own and completed his studies with scholarship .

Seetha Mehra was raised in a foster home in Kolkata,her parents were NREs who died in a air crash and all her childhood she lived ,studied in Kolkata then cracked UPSC exam and became a IAS officer after her degree completion and she then transferred to Mumbai a year later where she met Ram Sehgal and became Seetha Sehgal.

Seetha and Ram were in a 2 years long distance relationship due to Ram getting placed in a manufacturing firm in the US and Seetha serving the country as IAS officer.

They married each other during 1986 alongside successfully developing their businesses in India,Ram came back to India and Mahir was born to them a year after their marriage .

They later appointed Jahnvi as their secretary to all the legal and professional matters.
Time passed by and Jahnvi was a family member to the sehgal mansion and Seetha always took Janhvi as her own sister.

3 years later,they had Viya Sehgal (Ruhani Sharma).

Seetha was working until 2002 as IAS officer in different cities due to which they kept switching homes and Ram was always supportive of each other's career.

During 2002, Seetha left her IAS job for unknown reasons and Mahir was very suspicious about this matter and they never discussed this topic .

A year later ,Seetha died in a unfortunate car accident while she was driving alone .

Mahir was 16 when that happened and it shook him deep.

Ram and Seetha wanted to do something for the society that's why they always worked for the society even while doing business they donated atmost 70 percent of the income to Orphanages,NGOs ,women safety,science and development etc.

After Seetha died, Jahnvi took care of babies expecting nothing in return and in a course of time ,Ram and Jahnvi loved each other for what they are and married each other with their children's approval.

Mahir always grew up beside this family .He was a matured ,silent ,talented guy .Barely had conversations with people except his family,he loved his parents including his step mom and his sister. During his kindergarten time ,Viya was born.
She is a lovely child ,always made him happy with whatever she can.
She paints,sings and loved to play piano.
She was a nerd yet she was always in her own world,happy with her parents and always spoke with people.

But after her parents died ,she barely spoke with people ,experienced depression due to that incident in her life

Whereas ,Mahir always was so much  into academics and sports .
He always thought people were selfish and always stays with each other for purpose .

So she barely trusted people .
She taught people always want something or the other to be with one another.
