Jiwoo was wrapped in bandages. His arms, his torso, his legs... everything. You were sitting next to Jiwoo, unconsciously practicing the forced control Kayden had taught you.
You've been sitting there two days straight, not wanting to leave your friend out of your sight. Well that was until someone would drag you out for food or change clothing.
"Mr. Kayden." Jiwoo called out. His tone seemed as if he was at peace. Not angry nor frustrated for losing.
"I feel like I'm finally a real awakened one." Jiwoo revealed with a sigh. You were confused to what Jiwoo was trying to say. 'a real awakened one... has to be in bandages. Noted.'
Jiwoo was in pain, it hurts him to move. Maybe he should be training himself rather than wasting time lying down doing nothing, was what he thought as Jiwoo closed his eyes, focusing on the energy flowing through him.
"Oh-ho! Training without me having to nag at you both." Kayden chuckled as he looked back at Jiwoo and then at you.
'training? what is he on about- oh...' you realised as you looked around, seeing maroon sparks around you.
"Jiwoo, kid. Stop. Someone's coming," Kayden warned as he looked towards the door. Truthfully enough, Inhyuk and Jiyoung came through the door.
"I knew you'd be awake." Inhyuk said as he pushed the sliding door open.
"You were asleep for two whole days." Inhyuk informed, taking Jiwoo aback.
"Huh? Two whole days?" Jiwoo was shocked, he looked at you for confirmation.
"Hm!" You nodded enthusiastically.
"It hurts a lot. I can't even move." Jiwoo complained, causing you to panic. In no way are you going to let Jiwoo feel pain.
Inhyuk began telling Jiwoo the extent of his injuries, you flinched at some. 'yikes...'
"It's a serious condition for an average person, but because you're an awakened, you'll recover in no time, not to mention Y/n healing you constantly..." Inhyuk said, looking over to your sleepy condition on the couch behind him.
You smiled sleepily at Jiwoo, giving him two thumbs up as if to tell him you were okay.
"Jiwoo. Y/n." This time it was Jiyoung who had called for your attention. You perked up at the mention of your name.
"Have you heard the name Kayden?" She asked.
'wait...does she know? Oh no...'
"Who- who is Kayden? We've never heard that name before..." Jiwoo asked cautiously. You nervously gulped.
