Two words...panic attack, a fight or flight reaction which gets your heart beating faster
than a musician can beat a drum, the shortness of breath which constantly comes out as short puffs after running a long stretch, the intense fear starting at the core and slowly making it's way into a rumbling roar of thoughts in your head, the cold moisture trickling down my skin due to an overheating body, my mind going haywire but blank at the same time, the need to disappear under a rock and pray it'll stop by itself, the increasing pain in your chest making it feel like someone's twisting your heart out into nothing, feeling either completely frozen in place almost looking like you're trying to play dead, or shooting up on your two feet and throwing yourself forward in a charging momentum. Now that is a panic attack.

That's something I go through almost every single day. Sometimes it lasts a few seconds and sometimes hours after end. But today it's different..I can feel it in my bones that just today I won't be ignored or forgotten. My anxiety took off as soon as I opened my eyes today and it has yet to subside...
