"Trust Issues"

Days go by and the bond between Mina and Chaeyoung is impeccable, Mina is still shy and Chaeyoung is still standing up for her, nothing changed between them.

"Mina, can we eat together after school? I'm so hungryyyyy..." Chaeyoung whispered, they're in the middle of their last class.

"The kimchi fried rice wasn't enough?" Mina asked before giggling quietly.

Chaeyoung flipped the paper in her notebook to the next page before landing her eyes on Mina's notebook.

Her handwriting is so pretty

Chaeyoung is amazed at people who have amazing handwriting, she thought they were very smart and funny. She looked up only to find Mina focused on what she was writing.

Wow, she's so pretty...

"Hey you must hurry up, we need to finish this so that we can go and eat," Mina said, which made Chaeyoung embarrassed, she quickly turned to her paper out of embarrassment.

She proceeded to copy what was written on Mina's paper. She had never written anything this fast before, maybe it's because she's really hungry?

The school bell rang, which means the class has ended. Chaeyoung excused herself to go to the bathroom, leaving Mina to fix her bag.

"This bag is so expensive but it's so hard to fix," Mina muttered under her breath while trying to fix the bag.

Suddenly 3 girls walk up to Mina with smiles on their faces, Mina, of course, noticed them and anxiety rushed up to her body.

"Hello, you're Myoui Mina, right? The school owner's daughter?" One of the girls asked, Mina, looked at them with a blank expression on her face.

"Yes, that's me. Can I help you with anything?" Mina asked, she didn't want to waste her time, and obviously, she doesn't want to meet another bully again.

"Hi! I'm Minatozaki Sana, I'm new here. I love your voice and I kinda idolize you, maybe we can be friends?" The new girl asked nicely.

Mina's trust issues were building up inside her, she can't just trust anyone here.

"I'm Hirai Momo, I'm her sister. Nice to meet you." The black-haired girl said while smiling at her.

"I'm Im Nayeon, their best friend, I hope we can get along well." The brunette girl said.

She smiled at them and nodded, they seemed nice. One of the girls was about to grab Mina's book to carry it for her when Chaeyoung grabbed it first.

"Hey who are y'all? I haven't seen any of you here before," Chaeyoung wrapped her arm around Mina's shoulder to protect her.

"Oh we're the new students, we just want to be friends with Ms. Myoui," Sana answered and smiled.

Chaeyoung didn't buy that and rolled her eyes before grabbing Mina's bag that was now fixed and carrying it along with her books.

"You can be friends with her but stop pestering her, ya'll get me?"

The girls nervously nodded, Chaeyoung is known to be good at martial arts so no one can mess with her.

"Let's go, Mina..." Chaeyoung grabbed Mina's hand and dragged her out of the classroom.

All of a sudden, her hunger faded and got replaced with worry. Chaeyoung was so confused, why this feeling is suddenly pushing up inside her?

"Hey, are you okay? You've been holding my hand so tightly.." Mina said, Chaeyoung immediately let go of her hand.

"I-I'm sorry... I'm not hungry anymore, maybe next time?" Chaeyoung asked, Mina nodded and smiled.

"Maybe I can give you a ride so that we can together in the car, how does that sound?" Mina noticed her mood so she offered her a ride.

"Oh yeah, that'll be nice..." Chaeyoung can't decline Mina's offer. She doesn't know but she has this feeling that she needs to protect Mina.

As for Mina, she's starting to have feelings for Chaeyoung, she noticed how her heart always beats so fast when Chaeyoung is around and she always blushes when Chaeyoung stands up for her.

But she's scared, Chaeyoung looked like she wasn't into girls and she's afraid that if she confessed, the girl might distance herself, which she doesn't want because Chaeyoung is her only best friend.

Minutes later, Mina's car stopped in front of them, Mina opened the door for Chaeyoung to get in, Chaeyoung hesitated but seeing that Mina is smiling from ear to ear and her eyes were shining, she just automatically went into the car.

Mina also got in and closed the door.

"Ms. Myoui, do you mind if I ask who's that girl?" The driver asked, referring to Chaeyoung.

"Oh, she's my best friend! Chaeyoung, that's my driver, Jung Jihoon, and Mr. Jung I would like you to meet my best friend Son Chaeyoung!" Mina said then giggled, making Chaeyoung blush.

She's so cute... >_<

"Hello, thank you for accompanying Ms. Myoui every time, she talks about you a lot..." Mr. Jung said and laughed a bit.

Mina hid her face when she heard that, her cheeks got warmer, and couldn't help but feel embarrassed.

"O-Oh..is that so? Well, she loves me, right Mina?" Chaeng asked playfully, Mina composed herself and nodded in response.

"She's really shy, isn't she? I remember the first time I drove her to school, she was too shy to ask me to open her car door, and because of that she got late by 5 minutes." Mr. Jung laughed as he turned left.

Mina pouted and Chaeyoung laughed.

"Hey! Of course, I was shy, you're new and I didn't want to be mean to you!" Mina said and smacked her driver's arm playfully.

The driver laughed softly as he drove, Chaeyoung is looking out the window while Mina is staring at her.

She watches as the sun shines on Chaeyoung's face, her plump and pink lips that she wanted to feel on hers, her short brown hair flawlessly flowing on her shoulders, and her brown eyes beautifully observing the road.

Mina can't look away, she wondered why Chaeyoung would want to be friends with her.

Silence filled the car until Chaeyoung spoke.

"Just take a picture instead, it'll last longer." Chaeyoung flashed a wink at Mina.

Mina looked away shyly as her face got red, she was stopping herself from screaming and smiling like a psycho.

Is this how you'll feel if you're in love?

Mina thought, she heard her driver laugh causing her to get more embarrassed.

She pretended to look out the window but she couldn't help but smile.

It feels so great to fall in love...
