18 hour challenge

I was comfortable, it was early and I refused to open my eyes. Last night was a huge mix of emotion. I let my arm move and touched something. My eyes bolted open. He hadn't left since last night.

His slightly curled hair was resting over his eyes, he was in deep sleep and I felt awful waking him up but I had to.

I nudged his shoulder and he groaned opening his eyes and looking around. He got up and left the room without saying a word or glancing back. Just then Camila came in giving me a questioning look.

"Do I even....?" She asked, giving me a pointed look. I shook my head not wanting to talk about anything.

She hurried me to get ready for the second challenge as it was starting soon. I had totally forgotten it was today.

Cami and I got ready and I met up with the other contestants around a small fountain. I was confused. The queen was the only one other than the contestants here. "My husband is not here due to personal matters, so let's get on with today's events, it's a treasure hunt." Her voice clearly showed signs of annoyance.

She gave us all a piece of paper and left. Something about her was off. The others opened their papers and left except for Miles and Lewis and I. "They never said we couldn't work together." I giggled and agreed. We opened the pieces of paper, we all had the same.

"We got a... Riddle?" Lewis inquired. While the boys debated, I started looking around. It was obviously not the actual door opening key that we were looking for. "Lei!" Someone shouted and I looked back. Miles and Lewis were running towards the inside of the castle. I naturally followed them up the stairs until we were inside the music room.

They went to the piano, I was confused. "Piano keys," one of them explained. There were other papers there with a warning to only take one of them. Miles took one and we continued chasing the clues.

It turned out Miles had a talent for solving riddles. Lewis and I barely had to do anything.

After about a dozen clues we got a difficult riddle which even Miles couldn't understand. After 15 minutes of aimless thinking he resorted to asking for help from us.
